With over 23 years of experience, Dr. Beverly Smith has served the counseling profession while being an active member of various organizations. Her leadership roles have included being a local Chapter President of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., as well as Chapter President and President-Elect of the Fulton School Counselor Association. She has been a peer reviewer of proposals for the 30 th & 31 st National Youth-At-Risk Conference as well as the 21 st National Conference on Child Abuse & Neglect. Additionally, Dr. Smith has served on the American Counselor Association Committee for Research & Knowledge. She is a member of the LPCA of GA, Chi Sigma Iota, and the Florida Mental Health Counselor Association. Dr. Beverly has served as a volunteer for the Red Cross since 2009 in the area of Disaster Mental Health and as a Psychological First Aid Instructor. In 2015, she received acceptance for the inaugural Georgia Autism Assessment Program which was a collaboration between the Emory Autism Center, Department of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences, Emory School of Medicine and the Georgia Psychological Association's Council on Child, Family, and Assessment. Also, Dr. Smith has served as a Chaplain (Spiritual Health Clinician) with Emory Hospital.

Napoleon Harrington - Founder

Napoleon is the Founder and Therapist of the Ambassador Counseling & Resource Group, an award-winning collaborative counseling organization dedicated to providing people and professionals with proficient counseling and training services. Upon earning his bachelor's degree, he was awarded the Human Relations Award, a significant honor given to one graduating senior at Oakland University. Napoleon is an engaging presenter with national and international experience. In 2012 he was awarded the Adjunct Faculty of the Year Award for his academic and professional contributions to his colleagues and the undergraduate student body. Napoleon's leadership has been recognized by civic organizations and government officials. In January of 2016, he was inducted into the fifth class of the "Elite 40 under 40 of Oakland County". He has recently been inducted as alumni and class president of the 28 th class of Leadership Oakland - a premiere leadership program. He has served as past President of the Michigan Mental Health Counselors Association. In that role, Napoleon was instrumental in the passage of Public Act 96 of Michigan, legislation that rescued the licensed professional counselor from a detrimental and uncertain future. Napoleon was awarded the "2020 Counselor of the Year", by the American Mental Health Counselors Association. In 2021, he was appointed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer to the Michigan Board of Counseling. Napoleon has had many experiences that inspired him to develop his counseling, speaking and facilitation skills, to be a voice of courage for people facing a variety of fears and challenges. Napoleon has had multiple television appearances and been featured as a radio guest a variety of times to discuss mental health and psychology related topics. He has written multiple articles for national and local publications on topics related to mental health and wellness. Currently, he is completing requirements for a Doctorate in Behavioral Health from Cummings Graduate Institute of Behavioral Health, anticipated to complete in 2023/2024. He has a passion for people and has made it his mission to cultivate optimum mental, physical, and spiritual well-being of those he meets. Napoleon is affectionately known as the "Courage Counselor". Napoleon lives in Auburn Hills with his college sweetheart and wife, Faith and his twin daughters Isabella and Imani.
