Carolyn Egrie, President Baldwin Design Group, Inc. - Received her Bachelor of Science Interior Design Degree from Drexel University in 1982. Upon graduation she was awarded a letter of commendation for outstanding design professionalism and achievement. She was the senior designer at one of Philadelphia's largest office furniture dealerships from 1982 through 1995, where she specified, designed, and managed small to large corporate design projects. In 1993 she passed the National Council for Interior Design Qualifications (NCIDQ), an examination that tested her knowledge of design, building codes, fire codes, ADA regulations, programming, and problem solving abilities. She is licensed by the State of Maryland as a Certified Interior Designer, and is a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID). From 2001 to 2003 she was selected for a three year term to be a juror for NCIDQ examination in Washington DC. In 2009 she passed the LEED examination for commercial interiors and became a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, Accredited Professional (LEED AP).
