Brian, his wife Wendy, and their two sons were called to serve at Bethel in January of 2023. Brian has served multiple churches as an associate pastor of missions and discipleship and he and his family served as IMB missionaries in Southern Mexico. He is a graduate of Liberty University where he earned a M.A. in Theological Studies and a D.Min in Ministry Leadership. Brian has a passion to reach the lost with the life-giving message of the gospel of Jesus Christ and to make disciples who will be disciple makers.

Doug and his wife Christy, and their two daughters live in the Tabb district of York County. After serving 10 years at his previous church, Doug came to Bethel in November of 2010. He is a graduate of James Madison University and Southeastern Seminary where he earned a Master of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry. Doug is committed to Biblical exposition and has a passion to see people become fully devoted followers of Christ.

Jake was raised in Seaford and is now living in the Yorktown area. He came to Bethel in 2018 after living in North Carolina for five years. He attended the College at Southeastern and graduated with a Bachelors in Christian Studies and is currently attending Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary pursuing a M.A. in Biblical Counseling and Christian Education. Jake felt his calling into ministry as a middle schooler. He feels blessed that God has called him to teach kids about what it means to come to a saving faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Keith and his wife Joy, and their three children live in Hampton. They joined the pastoral team August 2011. He is a graduate of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he earned a Masters of Church Music. His passion is to see all peoples and generations extol the Lord and bless His name every day with their lives and God-given gifts.

Kevin and his wife Alex live in Yorktown with their three children. Kevin has a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of South Florida. After three incredibly enjoyable years teaching high school chemistry, Kevin felt a clear call into student ministry in 2016. He comes to Bethel from North Carolina after spending 2 years pursuing his Master of Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary while working for the Summit Church in Durham. Kevin and Alex are both passionate about seeing students grow in their knowledge of God and His Word through discipleship. It brings the Sherman's much joy to see students fulfill their God-given purpose for their life as they pursue a personal relationship with Him.

Rhonda Robinson is our Women's Ministry Director. She has joyfully served here at Bethel since 2015. Her heart's desire is to inspire, equip, support, and disciple women to live in God's purpose. She has a passion for strengthening, encouraging, and renewing women as they grow closer in a relationship with Jesus Christ. She has taught women's Bible studies for over 30 years and has been given the privilege to speak at many women's events and conferences.
Rhonda accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at an early age. Even through the many "ebbs and flows" and challenges along the way in her faith walk, she is thankful to God to be the recipient of His abundant Grace and Mercy. Rhonda has been married to Neal Robinson for over 30 years. They spent 28 years living the Air-Force life. They traveled all over the country and experienced living overseas in Japan. They have four adult daughters and two grandchildren with whom they enjoy spending time. Rhonda loves to watch Hallmark movies, cook, and shop.
One of Rhonda's favorite scriptures is:
"'The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; Great is your faithfulness. The LORD is my portion,' says my soul, ‘therefore I will hope in Him.'" (Lamentations 3:22-24)
