Bideawee is fortunate to count a wide variety of caring organizations and companies as members of the Bideawee community... Finding loving homes for rescued animals. Bideawee is a no-kill animal rescue and shelter with locations in NYC, Wantagh and Westhampton, and provides services such as adoptions, medical care and socialization... Bideawee's founder Mrs. Flora D'Auby Jenkins Kibbe transplanted this idea of a "no Kill" shelter to New York City and by the end of 1903, she was operating a similar program out of a small building near her home in Manhattan. She called it Bide-A-Wee Home Association.
