She has served on the Board of the New York chapter of the Association of Career Professionals International and on the Lawyers in Transition Committee for the Association of the Bar of the City of New York. Her life experience includes serving as General Counsel and Vice President for Personnel Administration for the Fashion Institute of Technology; Associate Director of Personnel for the City University of New York; and as an associate attorney at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae LLP. Alexandra is a Certified Social Worker, with a Master of Social Work from New York University. She earned her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School where she was a Note and Comment Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review.

Barbara Frankel

Barbara has been an Adjunct Instructor with the Cornell University School of Industrial Relations, teaching "Dynamics of Interpersonal Behavior and Communications." She has been a co-founder of three professional organizations in the NYC Career Management field including the NY Chapter of the Association of Career Professionals International. Barbara Frankel holds a Masters Degree in Social Work from Hunter College School of Social Work and is licensed in NYS as a Certified Social Worker. Prior to entering the career management field as an outplacement provider with DBM, she was a financial manager in both book publishing and financial information services. Her nonprofit experience includes three years as Chair of the Finance Committee for Habitat for Humanity Newark (NJ). She is the creator of numerous workshops on job search strategy, including Make Age Irrelevant in Your Job Search and The Strategic Use of Interim Employment. Carol is an advisor to the Wharton Alumni Club of New York, an "Ask the Experts" panelist for CollegeRecruiter.com, a regular presenter of job search workshops to Job Seekers of Montclair, and a frequent speaker to professional associations and job search groups. She contributed two articles to CollegeRecruiter.com's ebook, The Last Job Search Guide You'll Ever Need, published in 2002. In 2003 she wrote a career transition manual and facilitator's guide for TIAA-CREF and provided career counseling for the Miss Universe Organization.
