David Borac

A Romanian-born pianist, David Borac is a versatile and sensitive player who frequently collaborates with Bay Area musicians in concerts, studio recitals, and competitions. David completed his Masters of Music in Piano Performance and Chamber Music at San Francisco State University, where he won the Ross McKee and the William Corbett-Jones Awards for piano performance. He currently serves as worship pianist at Coastside Lutheran Church in Half Moon Bay and as accompanist for the Coastside branch of the Peninsula Girls Chorus.

Pastor Sue

Pastor Sue began her call as solo pastor at Coastside Lutheran in January of 2021 after serving as associate pastor at CLC for two years. She was ordained as a Minister of Word and Sacrament in 2019 in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. Pastor Sue holds a Masters of Divinity degree from Duke Divinity School in Durham, North Carolina and a Masters of Sacred Theology from Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary in Columbia, South Carolina. Prior to entering the ministry, Pastor Sue spent 20 years working as an engineer, manager and project manager at a computer technology firm in New York and North Carolina. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University in Syracuse, New York. Pastor Sue and her husband, Bill, have two sons who both live on the east coast. Steven is in graduate school and Sam is an undergrad. Sue and Bill both enjoy bird watching and spending time in nature.
