Brad joined the Connie Maxwell family in July 2019. With more than 125 employees at our ministry, Brad was a much-needed and welcomed resource. He holds a dual Master's degree in Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development from Clemson University. Brad also has SHRM-CP and PHR certifications. While his education and HR knowledge are good, what is most evident about him is his love for God and for others. Brad and his wife Dee Dee have two children, Bentley and Ava. In his free time, he enjoys fitness, outdoor activities, and sports.

Danny Nicholson - President

He was adopted by Billy and Mary Nicholson, a maintenance worker and school teacher, who took him home to 401 West Richardson Circle in Hartsville, South Carolina. He grew up in a Christian elementary school and developed a love for the game of basketball. While training for basketball in high school, he found his God-given talent for running and joined the high school Track and Field team in the spring of 1978. He ran 4:28 in the mile during the State Championship meet in 1979 which earned him an athletic scholarship at Charleston Southern University. He graduated from CSU in 1984 with a major in Communications and minor in Religion. From 1984 until 2017 (33 years), Danny served in University Advancement for eight different institutions of Higher Education, including, Medical University of South Carolina, Coker College, and Carson Newman University, to name a few. Eric Taylor

Eric Taylor first came to Connie Maxwell as a staff child in 1973, while his parents were employed here. He joined as a full-time staff member in 1997, and has played a key role in our fundraising efforts ever since. He has a bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina. He has been very involved with Connie Maxwell Baptist Church, where he was baptized in 1974. Eric has also served as president of the Alumni Association. When Eric isn't at work, he enjoys snow skiing and traveling with family and friends. Eric and his wife Pam have two daughters, Erin and Lindsay.

Jay Boyd

Jay joined the team in August 2020 and prior to arriving at Connie Maxwell, he served as the Director of Development for Alabama Baptist Children's Homes. He has been working in non-profit fundraising since 2011. Jay holds a Master of Arts degree in Leadership from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, Ky., and a bachelor's degree from Samford University, Birmingham, Ala. He is currently enrolled as an M.B.A student at Samford University's Brock School of Business. He earned his Credentialed Certified Nonprofit Leader (CCNL) certification from Christian Leadership Alliance in 2016. Jay and his wife Lauren live in Greenwood, SC with their two children, Brayden and Isabella. He is an avid hunter who enjoys all outdoor activities.

Sheila Price

Sheila joined the Connie Maxwell family in September of 2022. She graduated from North Greenville with her Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and from Liberty University with her Master of Arts in Strategic Communications, and comes to Connie Maxwell with nearly 15 years of experience in communications. Her and her husband Cody have two children- Archer, age 8, and Birdie, age 3.

Steve Shiflet - EVP

Steve Shiflet began working at Connie Maxwell in 1984. His passion for our ministry is evident to everyone who meets him. He is a numbers guy and keeps everything running smoothly. Steve graduated from Anderson College with an AA in Business Administration and also completed a BA in Accounting from Central Wesleyan College (Southern Wesleyan University). When he is not crunching numbers and updating spreadsheets, he enjoys playing and watching sports, as well as collecting sports memorabilia and Abraham Lincoln memorabilia. He especially enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Tim Duncan

Tim joined the Connie Maxwell family in 2003. He has held multiple roles at Connie Maxwell, but currently oversees the child and family welfare aspects of the ministry as the Vice President for Programs & Services. In addition, he remains active in this field as an Associate Faculty for the University of Phoenix, Online and California Baptist University teaching undergraduate classes for human services and psychology. Tim received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Master of Science in Rehabilitation Counseling, and a Master of Public Administration from West Virginia University. Tim is married with one son, and a daughter. His hobbies are limited to spending time with his family, swimming, jet-skiing, and teaching his son & daughter music performance in percussion. He has come to understand that while knowledge is power we tend to forget that everything we do and see is an educational opportunity. Throughout his career, he has found that planting the seed is simple, but having it blossom takes effort. Together we will plant the seed and put forth the effort to blossom as a group.
