Adam Singfield

Adam Singfield has more than 10 years of experience in corporate communications, event and social media marketing. He began his consulting career with Concentric in 2008 and has contributed to the success of numerous public consultation initiatives over the years. Adam is a versatile professional communicator specializing in strategy development and digital engagement. He graduated from the University of Ottawa with an Honours B.A. in Communications Studies and is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) and committee member with the Canadian Heavy Oil Association. Adam also founded and operates Turkey Burg Creative, a Calgary-based marketing communications consultancy.

Andrea Gill

Andrea Gill joined Concentric in 2014 to handle all of the key functions needed to help our team succeed while we're out managing our clients' needs. Andrea's background in finance and accounting ensures we're keeping up with that part of the business while her vast experience in the hospitality industry gives her the skills needed to navigate client and supplier relationships and ensure day to day business activities are addressed so that our Public Affairs team can focus on what it does best.

Bill Marler

Bill Marler is Concentric Public Affairs' lead graphic designer and visual media expert. With more than 32 years of experience, Bill's portfolio includes organizations such as McGill University, Berol, Canadian Pacific, Kraft, Schering, Suzy Shier, Molson, the Montréal Canadiens and the Montréal Expos.

Darren Paquin

Job Titles:

Darren Paquin is a corporate communications professional with more than 20 years of experience in communications, public affairs and journalism. He worked for Canadian Pacific and the Petroleum Services Association of Canada prior to his consulting career which led him to join Concentric shortly after the firm was founded.

David Klug

David Klug is a senior government and stakeholder relations, communications and public policy/public relations practitioner with close to25 years of experience in government, crown corporations and the energy sector. With a degree in Public Administration from Carleton University, David has held a number of positions during his career, including Senior Parliamentary Relations Officer with Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Head of Government Relations for the International Development Research Centre and Program Manager with the World Economic Forum in Switzerland. He was appointed as Director of Communications and Press Secretary to the Minister of Labour and Federal Coordinator on Homelessness. In the energy sector, David was the Director of Communications for Climate Change Central and Senior Advisor, Government Relations for Enbridge Inc. prior to establishing Konsul Strategies Inc., a specialized public affairs consulting company that works closely in association with Concentric Public Affairs.

David Lockwood

David Lockwood has 20 years of experience as a specialist in graphic design, database management, stakeholder GIS mapping, online media, software development and Website design and architecture. David has worked as a consultant to a number of corporate clients across Canada, leading project teams in the design and execution of successful multi-media, video and animation projects and as a creative consultant to public affairs and communications teams in a wide range of industries. David has a particular strength in developing effective and powerful visual communications and online media to meet diverse audience and client needs.

Ian La Couvée

Ian La Couvée is a senior public affairs professional with close to 30 years of experience in journalism, corporate communications, public affairs and stakeholder relations. A graduate of McGill University, Ian has extensive experience in the corporate sector, serving as national manager of communications/public affairs and media relations for Canadian Pacific and Enbridge. Prior to that, Ian was a journalist and freelance business writer in Montréal. With a particular strength in issue/reputation management and communications, Ian develops successful communications and public affairs strategies to align stakeholders on every side of an issue. He has led communications and public affairs teams on a number of stakeholder and community-relations efforts to support a wide range of industry initiatives and capital projects throughout Canada.

Tim Humphreys

Tim Humphreys is an experienced corporate communications specialist providing goal-focused communications support for stakeholder, employee, customer and government-oriented initiatives for some of Canada's leading corporations. His skills include stakeholder relations; creative strategic planning; speech writing and annual reports; and media relations. Tim began his career as a beat reporter specializing in municipal affairs in Québec and moved into corporate communications with Canadian Pacific (CP) when The Montreal Star printed its last edition in 1979. While with CP, he served on various senior management teams responsible for corporate restructuring, rationalization issues, labour negotiations and employee health and safety issues. Prior to Concentric, Tim headed SpinCom Business Communications, providing creative support on various projects for Celanese Canada, Aventis Pharma, St. Lawrence & Hudson Railway and the Canadian Pacific Railway, among others.

Trevor Smith

Trevor Smith is a native Calgarian with a background in business administration and management. Trevor attended SAIT Polytechnic and is a graduate of Mount Royal University's Project Management and Applied Project Management programs. Prior to Concentric, he worked as a team leader and project manager supporting numerous organizations including, Agrium, Calgary Board of Education, Encana, Fortis and Suncor. Outside of the office, Trevor has a keen interest in Calgary's cultural scene and is annually a volunteer coordinator for several festival organizations.
