Charlotte Wade joined the SUNY Cortland community as Assistant Diversity Officer in September 2023. Prior to this role, Wade served as the Assistant Director of Multicultural Affairs for LGBTQ+ Life at SUNY Geneseo. Wade holds an AA in Liberal Arts from Cottey College, a BA in Gender Studies from Mount Holyoke College, and an MA in Higher Education Administration from Stony Brook University. Their master's thesis explored racism in academic advising environments. Wade has worked in a variety of higher education areas, including disability services, civic engagement, and multicultural life.

Lorraine Lopez-Janove previously served as the joint chief diversity officer for SUNY Orange, SUNY Sullivan and SUNY Ulster community college campuses. At those three campuses, she provided leadership and guidance in the delivery of a comprehensive range of programs and services promoting a culture of inclusive excellence. She was a member of the president's cabinet at those institutions, participating in all aspects of institutional planning and assisting each college in its efforts to meet the needs of diverse student, faculty and staff populations.
