We pride ourselves in our selective breeding program, producing the finest grouse dogs for your hunting pleasure. We plan a litter once or twice a year and primarily target hunters, however English Setters settle easily into a household as family members. Our English Setter pups usually go to their respective homes the end of summer each year and are invited back for professional training with us. You can get your new English Setter pup off to a great start by exposing the pup to birds as soon as possible, and we can help. The dogs we develop are intelligent, range comfortably and wish to please. Grouse hunting is our passion, one shared by our English Setters... With this in mind, it is the ideal grouse dog we strive for in our English Setter breeding program at Chenango Valley Kennels, and if the dog can handle grouse well it will be able to hunt any other bird for you. This intelligent hunter will also make an excellent family dog, a "win-win" situation for any bird hunter.....
