The Center is also known as the National Association of Election Officials... Electionline was founded in 2001 by Doug Chapin and supported by a grant to the University of Richmond from The Pew Charitable Trusts. In 2007, the electionline team formally joined The Pew Charitable Trusts as part of Pew's transition from private foundation to public charity... We aim to make electionline an essential stop for news and information for election administrators, advocates, and journalists-before, during, and after election cycles. We believe the site can help readers navigate a maze of information and point to trustworthy resources and ideas to improve the voting experience for the American people.
