Each of the over 26,000 members of the Television Academy belongs to a Peer Group that represents their professional specialty. There are 31 of these Peer Groups... Each peer group has two Governors, elected by their members for a two-year term... The Executive Committee is comprised of five elected Officers (Chair and CEO, Vice Chair, Second Vice Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer), plus six Chair Appointees, four Governors' Appointees, and the Chair of the Television Academy Foundation.
