SUPERIOR SERVICES - Key Persons
Amanda joined Superior in 2021 when Don Lister retired and sold to her. She is a graduate from Furman University in Greenville SC. While her career began locally with Milliken and Company in textile manufacturing, she's held various technical and leadership roles in firms across the southeast. For the last twenty years, she has helped various healthcare organizations manage IT projects and sees Superior as a refreshing change. Her skills in project and program management are well-utilized at Superior and she is enjoying learning all she can about the testing and tank business.
David's first day at Superior began in 1989 at the SE Petro Trade Show in Charlotte, NC. What a way to begin! He was our first testing technician, and so he understands first-hand the challenges our techs face in the field. He grew the testing program at Superior to what it is today, and manages the testing technicians we employ. He juggles the regulatory requirements for the states in which we test, with ease, and is a knowledgeable resource for our technicians, customers, and sometimes regulators themselves.
Phillip joined Superior in 1995, having worked as a commercial electrician previously. His electrical expertise led naturally to an understanding of cathodic protection systems, and he manages both the CP testing program as well as any repairs or new installations our customers need. Phillip maintains NACE Level II certification and his commercial electrician licensure in NC.
Tom joined Superior in 2015 after a career in law enforcement. He worked under Don Lister's direction for several years before leading tank crew projects on his own. You will find him inside the tank working as often as not. Tom is OSHA certified and is working on STI certification as well.
