ELIM CHRISTIAN CENTRE - Key Persons
Fred has been married to Mavis for over 50 years, they have three children and three grandchildren. He has attended Elim Christian Centre since childhood. Fred has been on the church leadership team for many years and currently serves as a deacon with responsibility for maintenance of the church having worked his whole life in the building trade. Fred has a heart to practically serve in whatever way he can to serve God in the church and local community.
Jeanne is a longstanding member of the Elim Christian Centre having come into the church originally through the Sunday School as a child. Jeanne is married to Malcolm and has two married daughters, Erika who lives in Guernsey and Catherine who lives in Hedge End. They also have five lovely Grandchildren. Jeanne works within the church in various rolls - Junior Church Teacher, Women@Elim ladies group joint leadership, Prayer Team & Pastoral Care Team. Jeanne joined the leadership team as an Elder three years ago. It is Jeanne's desire to always be open to God and new opportunities that He may present and continually grow in Him no matter what age you are, God still has a plan and purpose for you.
John has been a member of the Elim Christian Centre for a few years now and is currently an elder of the church. He is married to Charlotte and together have been blessed with three children, namely Emmanuel, Lydia and Joshua. John and his family originally come from Ghana in West Africa. John‘s main interests are in watching documentaries on technology, reading and listening to music. John has a desire that people will have a meaningful understanding and grasp of the word of God to live fulfilled lives. He is also an advocate for truth and justice.
Steve is married to Erika and they have three children, Hannah and twin boys, Samuel and Noah. Steve originally comes from Bristol, but has lived all over the country and even in Kosova! Steve loves spending time with people, watching movies, reading, playing the bass guitar, eating, watching boxing (please don't hold that against him) and occasionally going to the gym. It's Steve's desire to see all people living in the fullness of Christ and fulfilling their God given potential.
