Glade Church was founded in 1750 by Rev. Michael Schlatter, a German Reformed pastor. The original church was located on the outskirts of Walkersville, then moved to Fulton Avenue in 1896... Glade UCC an open and affirming congregation has a reputation as a friendly and welcoming church. We strive to live to do justice, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with God... We are actively involved in outreach locally, regionally, and globally. There are many opportunities for you to put your gifts and talents to work at Glade.
