GLEMA CENTER - Key Persons
Carole has been with the Glema Center since September, 1992. Her main duties include anything that has to do with the Center's budget. Some time ago, she found that she enjoyed working with desktop publishing, so she was drafted as the resident poster and program creator, which are all currently printed in-house.
The coal industry brought this Chicago native to Western Kentucky in 1971; however, Carole has grown to love the area and happily calls Madisonville her home. Married to Tom, they have two daughters, Stephanie and Michele.
Liz is a Madisonville native with a lifelong love of performing arts. A 2004 graduate of Murray State University, she has managed a historic hotel, worked in a college admission office, and served as a comics coloring assistant. When not at the Glema Center, Liz enjoys photography, reading, gardening, and making memories with her family.
Mason lives in Muhlenberg County where he is involved with community theatre. He has experience in all aspects of theatre including sound, lighting, set construction, performing, and music direction. Mason's first exposure to the Glema Center was as Music Director for Young Frankenstein in 2016. Mason holds a bachelor's degree in Vocal Music from Cumberland University. He and his wife, Melanie, have two sons: Asher & Gatlyn.
Misti is a native of Hopkins County and a 1991 graduate of Murray State University. She discovered her love for performing arts while watching a performance of Phantom of the Opera at NYC's Majestic Theatre! She was able to combine her love of the arts with her accounting degree during her 4-year stint as the Madisonville North Hopkins Band Booster treasurer.
Traveling with her husband Ed is one of her favorite pastimes. They are the proud parents of two adult children, Edward and Skylar. In her spare time, you may see her walking/running around town wearing Mickey Ears. She is a 3-time Walt Disney World Marathon finisher and travels the country participating in several half marathons a year.
