HANNIBAL PARKS - Key Persons

Bear Creek Trail is a 1.5 mile trail along Bear Creek that starts at South Main Street and ends at St. John Street in Sodalis Nature Preserve. The trail is only for hiking, biking, and running; no motorized vehicles are allowed. Late in 2016, outdoor fitness equipment was installed at the west end of Bear Creek Trail near Ely Street. The ENERGI Total Body Fitness System by PlayWorld is an outdoor total body fitness system designed for ages 13 and up and uses the latest cutting-edge fitness methodologies. The station features 24 exercises and combines functional fitness and body-weight training on three skill levels. Maxx Vance of Hannibal donated funds for the equipment.

Hannibal Marina

Hannibal Marina is located at the foot of Broadway on the Mississippi River. The marina and entire riverfront were renovated in 2020. Amenities include boat launch, long term slip rental, and short term & overnight rentals. There is currently no fuel dock. Docks and office are wheelchair accessible. Call the HPR office at (573) 221-0154 for seasonal, monthly, and overnight rentals of boat slips. (Marina Fees). (Marina Map).
