He is also a board member and technical advisor for The Fig Tree Children Foundation, a Brisbane Australian based organization that raises awareness and funding to help support Caritas Freetown and AFEWY provide for underprivileged children (especially orphaned and vulnerable children) in Sierra Leone.
Fr. Peter is the focal person on child protection within the Catholic Church of Sierra Leone and also a member of the International Catholic Child Protection Committee based in Rome, Italy.
Fr. Peter drew a lot of strength and direction from his pastoral duties as Parish Priest in both rural and urban communities in the Catholic dioceses of Bo and Freetown. He is as willing to take on tasks as he is innovative and results orientated. His appetite to serve is duly reflected in his outstanding leadership in the Church and development work.
Rev. Father Peter Konteh duly leads the development arm of the Catholic dioceses of Freetown. His commitment to continue his pastoral duties, support for the work of the Church and care for others is manifested in his drive to raise funds and seek sustainable development interventions at both community and national levels, in and out of the church, continues to affirm him as the Executive Director of the Archdiocesan Development Office/Caritas Freetown, a solid partner of peace and development.
Ishmeal Alfred Charles (better known as Charles), is a survivor of Sierra Leone's brutal civil war. Kidnapped during the war by the rebels at 14-years old, Charles witnessed terrible horrors but this did not defeat him and from this experience he "always wanted to be someone who will help my community rather than destroy it."
He is Healey International Relief Foundation's In-Country Program Manager in Sierra Leone working with Caritas-Freetown. He manages and monitors all HealeyIRF projects in Sierra Leone. He received his Diploma in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Sierra Leone and earned a certificate in International Humanitarian Affairs from Fordham University.
Megan graduated from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey with a BA in Communication Studies. During her time in college Megan worked for Volunteers of America, Delaware Valley. Upon graduation she worked in sales and a variety of other fields, but things came full circle and Megan returned to the world of philanthropy, one of which she truly loves. Working as the program manager, Megan is responsible for overseeing grant awards, seeking funding and management of specific projects throughout Sierra Leone.

Mr. Healey is an alumnus of St. Joseph's Preparatory School and St. Joseph's University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from the Haub School of Business in 2005. Currently, Mr. Healey is the Executive Co-Chairman of the Viking Group, which manages Viking Yachts, large investment portfolios and commercial and residential real estate interests.
Aside from his corporate positions, Mr. Healey's philanthropic activities include Board positions on the International Education Foundation, established in 1998 to support children from low income families to attend Catholic schools and to grow Catholic schools to be self-sustaining; Gleneayre Equestrian Program founded to help children and teens who are experiencing challenges in their lives to overcome these obstacles through a love of horses; and the Co-Founder of the Healey International Relief Foundation which was established to improve the quality of life of individuals and families in war-torn Sierra Leone.
Mr. Healey also sits on the Advisory Board of the School of Entrepreneurial and Family Business for St. Joseph's University, and is the Chairman for the Recreational Fishing Alliance, a fishing conservation organization founded to promote the health of fish stocks and protect the rights of fishermen to enjoy the sport. Along with his father, uncle and cousin, Mr. Healey was the recipient of the Greater Philadelphia Area Ernst & Young 2013 Entrepreneur of the Year Award and has also been awarded the Chapel of the Four Chaplains Legion of Honor Award. He is a member of The Union League of Philadelphia, and in his free time, Mr. Healey enjoys participating in Revolutionary War and World War I re-enacting, travel, target shooting, yoga and philosophy.

Vicki Middleton joined HIRF in February 2015 as Government Relations Officer after a successful 30-year career in the United States Congress, serving as Chief of Staff to Rep. Duncan L. Hunter (CA-52) and his successor Rep. Duncan D. Hunter (CA-50). During her tenure on the Hill, Vicki managed the Washington D.C. and San Diego offices, as well as being responsible for a variety of issues, including national security, maritime policy and veteran affairs. She has traveled extensively throughout Africa and served as an Election Observer during the 2011 Presidential elections in Nigeria.
