Dr. Allen G. Harris

Originally from Sellersville, Pastor Harris and his wife Karen came with their family to shepherd Hope Baptist Church in 2000. During his ministry at Hope, Pastor Harris has demonstrated a loving heart for his flock and a steadfast desire to stand for the truth of God's Word. He has a degree in Bible as well as a masters in Pastoral Ministry from Bob Jones University. He also holds an honorary doctorate from South India Baptist Bible College. When he's not visiting, studying, or working on things at church, Pastor Harris enjoys reading, playing table games with friends and family, and bowling. Pastor & Mrs. Harris have four children and 11 grandchildren.

Mrs. Cheryl Lucabaugh

Mrs. Karen Harris

Job Titles:
  • Elementary Supervisor and HCS Secretary
Karen Harris is a graduate of Bob Jones University with a degree in Elementary Education. She has extensive elementary level teaching and administrative experience. Mrs. Harris plays a multi-faceted role at Hope. In addition to signing Sunday services for the deaf, she is Pastor Harris's wife, secretary of the school, and a participant in the church choir and music ministries. During the school day, she teaches American Sign Language in the high school and jumps in to help elementary teachers where needed.

Rev. Walter E. Fordyce

Pastor Fordyce has been in Christian School Administration for over 35 years. He holds a degree in Youth Ministries and Education with a master's in Christian School Administration. Pastor Fordyce, along with his wife Anita, came to Hope Christian School in 2008. In addition to being the principal of the school, Pastor Fordyce also teaches Social Studies, History and Government.
