Anne DaVega

Job Titles:
  • Vice President of Business Development
After graduating from Prescott College Anne held various positions in the field of environmental science. Anne was a field biologist for the Park Service and worked as an Environmental Protection Specialist for the Yavapai Prescott Indian Tribe in Arizona. When she moved to Indianapolis in 2002, Anne began working at the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM). Her time at IDEM as a Project Manager in the Leaking Underground Storage Tank (LUST) Section and in State Cleanup established her strong background in site investigation and remediation. In 2007, Anne left IDEM to pursue a career in the private sector and took a position with Pace Analytical Services as an Account Executive and worked at Pace until joining Hoosier Equipment Service in 2012 in the role of Vice President of Business Development. In 2016, after Anne's role had grown to take on many different aspects of supporting the Hoosier Equipment Service, Anne's role transitioned to a broader title of Vice President. Anne continues to work day to day engaging new clients and growing relationships and opportunities with customers. In 2016, Anne obtained SP001 AST Inspector certification through the Steel Tank Institute. Heidi Brumback - President

Job Titles:
  • Owner
  • President
After obtaining her degree in Economics and Finance from Barry University (she was a four-year player on the women's basketball team at the University located in Miami, Florida) Heidi returned to Indianapolis and was offered the position as Lease Services Coordinator at Simon Property Group. After spending a few years in this role Heidi desired to have more of an impact and wanted to learn more about her family's small business. It took quite a bit of persuading but finally the Farmer brothers gave in and Heidi joined the company in 2002 in the role of Business Development. She learned the service offerings of the company by spending as much time in the field as possible observing projects. After a few years Heidi leaned on her uncle and another gentleman in the firm to learn the "science" of estimating. In 2005, Heidi began the process of acquiring her father's shares and joined her uncles as owners of the business. In 2007, Charlie Farmer retired from his Operational role. Ralph Farmer and Heidi Farmer "divided and conquered" the estimating and operational roles of the company until 2013 when Ralph passed away from cancer. Heidi has been the sole owner of Hoosier Equipment Service since that time and continues to be involved daily in estimating, project management, and all financials aspects of the business. Heidi, along with the entire Hoosier team (which includes 3 men who have worked with Hoosier over 20 years in the field), works every day to preserve and build upon Hoosier's reputation which has been close to 40 years in the making!

James Farmer

James Farmer purchased the business in 1978 and his brother Ralph Farmer immediately went to work running the day to day operations. In the 80's, the environmental industry began to take shape as new rules went into effect. We experienced a natural transition into this newly emerging industry.

Jason Wales

Job Titles:
  • Controller
After completing his studies and graduating from Indiana University with an accounting degree, Jason spent several years working with a fuel equipment distributor in Indianapolis as a Staff Accountant. Some might say after graduating from IU, he was destined to be a "Hoosier". Jason joined the Hoosier Equipment team in 2013 as Controller and manages all functionality of the office, including invoicing, AR & AP. Jason was highly regarded at his previous employer and it didn't take long to understand why… Jason has a "get it done" attitude and takes a positive approach when tackling any project thrown his way. The type of projects that Hoosier supports can result in detailed invoices with a lot of supporting backup documentation and timely preparation but Jason quickly learned the format and associated information that helps our clients process their invoices more efficiently. Clients and employees alike know that Jason is ready to help whenever the need arises! Hoosier Equipment Service, Inc. is Indiana's leader in providing safe, economical environmental construction solutions. Customer loyalty is the key component to our success.
