Though the Indiana Union was founded as a student organization more than 100 years ago and the IMU building was constructed in the early 1930s, the IMU is just as important to campus life today as it was a century ago... The Indiana Memorial Union is a home away from home for the IU community and a gateway for visitors to campus, greeting one and all with Hoosier hospitality... Use of, and access to, offices, meeting rooms and the Student Involvement Tower is subject to procedures established by IMU and Union Board.
