In the Spring of 2020, the JLM decided to allocate monies from the Tribute Fund to start the JLM Helps campaign. The JLM Helps campaign is designed to help bridge the gaps where funding, supplies, and volunteer presence may have been lost to COVID-19 and where individuals need a hand up to get through these tough times... As of December of 2020, the JLM has donated over $11,000 as part of the JLM Helps campaign to a variety of community partners including Visions and Pathways, Roots and Wings, The Neighborhood House, Weekend Meals for Madison Students, NourishNJ, Jersey Battered Women's Services, Interfaith Food Pantry, Homeless Solutions, Table of Hope, and CareFull. Our donations have helped to ensure additional food security for clients, to provide PPE to community members, to help transition from in-person to virtual client services, and to mitigate the costs of transportation to places of employment, grocery stores, and health care facilities...
