Dana M. Crom

Dana M. Crom is a lifelong resident of Inyo County. After graduating from Bishop Union High School, she received a BA in Government from CSU-Sacramento. In 1990, Ms. Crom graduated from University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, with Distinction, and was elected to membership in the Order of the Coif. Her legal career began at Pillsbury Madison & Sutro in San Francisco, where her practice focused on securities litigation and bankruptcy/reorganization. In 1995, Ms. Crom returned to Inyo County to raise her family. Prior to joining the Inyo County District Attorney's Office in May 2014, Ms. Crom worked as a Deputy County Counsel, operated active private practice and served as a contract public defender.

David Christensen

Dave moved to the Eastern Sierra after graduating from B.Y.U. Law School. He worked as an intern for the Mono County District Attorney, while waiting for the bar exam results, and was hired as a Deputy D.A. by the Inyo County District Attorney's Office shortly thereafter. His first nine-year stretch as an Inyo County Deputy D.A. was from 1994 through 2002. In 2017, Dave and his wife moved back to Bishop to live near family. His other experience includes the following: Contract Public Defender for Inyo County; Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in Idaho; Deputy Public Defender in Idaho; and Deputy D.A. in Humboldt and San Joaquin Counties. Dave's jury trial experience is substantial and he has handled a wide range of criminal cases.

Michael Durbin

Mike began his law enforcement career in 2008 as a Correctional Officer for the Inyo County Sheriff's Department. In 2012, Mike promoted to Deputy Sheriff where he was assigned to patrol operations. From 2012 to 2021, Mike held the positions of Deputy Sheriff, Sheriff's Corporal, and Sheriff's Investigator. As an Investigator, Mike was assigned to the Major Investigations and Narcotics Task force (MINT), where he conducted a wide variety of criminal investigations. Mike serves as a member of the Inyo County Inter-Agency Special Enforcement Detail (SED) team. In 2021, Mike was hired as a Criminal Investigator by the Inyo County District Attorney's Office. Mike's law enforcement duties have included participating with courtroom and trial preparation, assisting with officer involved shooting investigations (OIS), assisting with child abuse and sexual assault investigations, SART (Sexual Assault Response Team), child forensic interviews, serving as a Field Training Officer, Range Master and firearms instructor, Less Lethal Instructor, and an Active Shooter Response Instructor. Mike has obtained an Associate's Degree in Criminal Justice. Mike currently holds the California Peace Officer Standards (POST) Basic and Intermediate training certificates.

Rick began his law enforcement career in January of 2005 as a deputy for the Ventura County Sheriff's Department. While working for Ventura County Sheriff's Department, he was assigned to the main jail facility. In 2006, he had the opportunity to lateral to the Bishop Police Department as a police officer and move his family to the Eastern Sierras. From 2006 until 2012, he worked patrol in the City of Bishop and served as a member of the Inyo County Inter-Agency Special Enforcement Detail (SED) team. In 2012, Rick was hired as a Criminal Investigator by the Inyo County District Attorney's Office assigned to the Inyo County Narcotics Enforcement Team (INET). While assigned to INET, Rick worked narcotic related investigations throughout Inyo County. Rick's other law enforcement duties have included being assigned to the Major Investigations and Narcotics Task force (MINT), assisting on a wide variety of criminal investigations, courtroom and trial preparation, officer involved shooting investigations (OIS) and child forensic interviews. Thomas L. Hardy

Thomas L. Hardy was appointed to the office of District Attorney by the Board of Supervisors in September, 2013. He was subsequently elected in 2014, and re-elected in 2018 and 2022. He is a life-long resident of Inyo County, graduating from Bishop High School. He earned his Bachelor's Degree from Claremont McKenna College (magna cum laude), and his Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law. He was elected to membership in the Order of the Coif, a national legal honor society. Prior to serving as District Attorney, he had an active private practice and had served as a contract public defender, a Deputy District Attorney, and the Assistant District Attorney. In addition to his extensive trial experience, he has argued cases before the California Court of Appeal and the California Supreme Court.
