Joseph J. Cahill is a Founder and President of Joseph Cahill & Associates / WorthTax. He has over 25 years experience in Public Accounting, Financial Management and Insurance. He is a member of the National Society of Tax Professionals and the National Society of Accountants. Mr. Cahill is a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, a Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC, 1998) and a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU, 1997). He holds a Bachelor's Degree from Suffolk University (1986) and has his FINRA Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and FINRA Series 24 (General Securities Principal) registrations. Mr. Cahill is also a Partner of WorthPartners, Commonwealth Financial Network, a leading Financial Planning firm in the Boston area, based out of the same office as WorthTax. Joe has been serving individuals and families with their financial planning needs since 1991.

Thomas Holmes is the Chief Tax Specialist, Co-Founder, and Partner at Joseph Cahill & Associates / WorthTax. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree at Boston College and his Juris Doctor at Suffolk University Law School. Tom has been involved in tax preparation for over 30 years. He is the primary instructor for our annual tax school through which we train our new tax preparers each year. Tom also conducts the annual tax update seminar as well as other advanced seminars for our more experienced preparers. In addition to his involvement with WorthTax, Tom is a practicing attorney and owner of the Law Offices of Thomas J. Holmes. Tom concentrates in the areas of estate planning, probate and elder law and has over 30 years experience. Due to the fact that lawyers are not permitted to partner with non-lawyers, Tom does not perform his duties with WorthTax in his capacity as an attorney. The Law Offices of Thomas J. Holmes may be hired separately for matters that require legal representation. Tom is married with four children and seven grandchildren.
