ISAIAH HALL INN

In 1948 Dorothy Gripp, an artist, bought the house and transformed it into a guesthouse and gift shop. Examples of her primitive art style can be found in the Dining Room on the overhang and door and in the Great Room on the doors and beams as well as in several paintings of local scenes... In early 1984, the Brophys bought the guesthouse from Dorothy's niece. With great respect to the history and style of the house, they began renovations and opened as Isaiah Hall B&B Inn that spring... In 2004, Jerry and Judy Neal purchased the inn from Marie and Dick Brophy and continued their legacy serving guests for nearly 20 years. In 2022, Mark and Amy Scamman purchased the Isaiah Hall and will continue to operate the Inn as the others before them.
