For over 75 years Jenkins Funeral Chapel in Westlake, Ohio has served the communities of Westlake, North Olmsted, Bay Village, North Ridgeville, Rocky River, Fairview Park, Avon, Avon Lake, and Olmsted Township with funeral and cremation services. Our location on Dover Center Road, originally built in 1875, was one of the area's first schoolhouses. It was first remodeled into a funeral home in 1915 to serve your grandparents' families. We operated one of the first local ambulance services -- long before emergency services were available in many localities. We own and operate a crematory, which was one of the first in Cleveland, long before cremation was commonplace. Unlike other funeral homes that are part of big, multinational organizations, Jenkins Funeral Chapel is fourth generation family owned and operated.
