Phil Hull

Job Titles:
  • Director of Administrative Services
Phil started his fire service career in 2000, with KCFD1, getting hired as a "Payroll / Accounts Payable Secretary", on September 11th. Over the first few months of his employment, and multiple meetings with the Fire Chief, Phil's title changed to "Payroll Administrator". Phil went on to become the district's "Financial Officer", then "Finance Officer", a title that he kept until May, 2020, when he was promoted to his current position of "Director of Administrative Services". Phil was raised in Klamath Falls, graduating from Henley High School in 1986 and Oregon Institute of Technology in 2000, with Bachelor of Science degrees in Management and Management Information Systems. Fun fact: Phil was a placekicker for the last football team O.I.T. ever had. Phil served in the Army National Guard, both in Oregon and Virginia, from 1986 to 1993, as an 11B (Infantryman) and 11M (Fighting Vehicle Infantryman). In his spare time, Phil enjoys camping, fishing and golf, but his greatest achievements to date are his children, James and Elizabeth. The highlight of every year, for Phil, is an annual trip with James and his wife, Kayla and Elizabeth and her boyfriend, Andrew.
