Hester was recognized for his distinguished career in the U.S. Army and influencing the lives of thousands of Wichita students through Junior ROTC in Wichita.

Today, he also maintains both Television and Radio Seals of Approval from the National Weather Association.

Sierra Scott was a Television News Anchor for more than 35 years. Sierra now hosts "Positively Kansas!" a positive news show on PBS Kansas. It focuses on people, places, companies and organizations that make the world a better place to live. Before coming to Wichita, this Emmy, Telly and AP Award winning anchor worked in 5 different cities across the United States including Tampa, Florida and Waco, Texas.

Brosius is a graduate of Wichita State University and Wichita Northwest High School. She is the office manager for Blue Water Products of Wichita as well as an independent author and poet. A volunteer since 2015, Brosius answers the phone during quarterly pledge drives and is known for making her famous enchiladas for the other volunteers. As a member of the Community Advisory Board, she helps review PBS Kansas programming to make sure it meets the specialized educational and cultural needs of the community.
In addition to volunteering at PBS Kansas, Brosius is a member of Meridian Avenue Baptist Church's worship team and leads the church's Bible study for mothers. She is a married mother of two teens.
