Abby Phipps

Abby Phipps graduated from the University of Georgia in May of 2022 with a B.S. in Environmental Engineering. During her time at UGA, Abby contributed to a research project on terrestrial litter movement, which was funded by a National Geographic grant. She also deejayed for UGA's radio station, 90.5 FM WUOG. Abby enjoys cooking with friends and family, listening to music, and taking walks around her neighborhood.

Alan Wieczynski

Alan Wieczynski is a seasoned landscape architect and design leader. Alan has extensive experience with facility planning, design, and technical delivery. His "listen first" approach invites a unique collaborative experience with clients, stakeholders, and teammates. Alan's strong understanding of code requirements, accessibility best practices, stormwater management, ecological performance and constructability adds significant value to each of his projects. Clients appreciate his clear communication, attention to detail, and friendly demeanor. Alan is a past President of the Georgia Chapter of the US Green Building Council.

Bobby Molleur

Bobby Molleur received an Architectural Drafting degree from Athens Technical College as well as a professional certification from Autodesk for AutoCAD and Civil3D. He began his professional career with the firm in 2013. With his extensive drafting background, Bobby has helped to expand the use of Civil3D modeling and to streamline company drafting operations. Bobby has taken on the role of CAD Manager for BLP and he managed the integration of BIM360 into the company's workflow. He continuously researches better and more efficient ways to utilize our software capabilities to stay on the cutting edge of the drafting and design industry. Bobby has worked on many K-12 education, parks and recreation, and sports facilities, with a specialized interest in athletic field design. Bobby has worked on all aspects of projects, from site layout design to hydrology.

Carter Peatman

Carter Peatman, EIT, graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering in 2019. Carter has professional experience in infrastructure design and has worked on a variety of residential projects, primarily in the form of subdivision design. In his free time, Carter plays chess competitively and received the title of National Master in August of 2016.

Chris Prescott

Chris Prescott began his professional career as an intern with Breedlove Land Planning in 1998. After graduating from UGA in 1999 with a degree in Landscape Architecture, Chris returned as a full-time employee and later obtained his Landscape Architecture license in 2004. His experience is wide and varied, including design development, construction documentation, permitting, and construction administration for a range of residential (single and multi-family), commercial, educational, municipal, parks and recreation, and related athletic facilities. Chris is an experienced drafter using Civil3D modeling, and he has a strong appreciation for streamlining company drafting operations. Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids, watching / attending UGA football games, listening to music, and being an avid ornamental gardener.

Christian Bourguillon

Christian Bourguillon has extensive project experience working with public and private K-12 schools, as well as federal, state, and municipal clients. After earning his B.S. in Civil Engineering from Kennesaw State University in 2016, Christian went on to obtain his professional engineering licenses in the states of Geogia and Florida. He specializes in land development, site design, and storm water design. Christian is originally from Haiti, and enjoys PC building and gaming, hunting, as well as playing team sports.

Chuck Moore

Chuck Moore, P.E. has a diverse portfolio of project experience for both public and private clients in K-12, higher education, non-profit, and municipal market sectors. In addition to site design, Chuck has professional experience in the stormwater pipe manufacturing industry. He regularly manages projects from the initial design phase through construction. His clients appreciate his responsiveness, technical expertise, and willingness to go above and beyond for the sake of the project. Internally, Chuck is considered one of BLP's most valued technical resources for stormwater management design, hydrology studies and local permitting requirements.

Diamond Owens

Diamond Owens graduated from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Landscape Architecture in 2021 and a Master of Urban Planning in 2022. While in school, Diamond gained experience with summer internships and served as a Charrette Assistant at the Center for Community Design & Preservation in the College of Environment and Design. She enjoys painting, listening to music, and trying new restaurants.

Evan Henke

Evan Henke, EIT, graduated from Texas A&M in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He joined Breedlove Land Planning in the summer of 2023, bringing with him experience in residential land development, hydrology, and structural design. Outside of Breedlove, Evan is a commissioned Field Artillery Officer in the Georgia Army National Guard. In Evan's free time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, playing soccer, hunting, and playing video games.

Gary Caraway

Gary Caraway serves the firm as a landscape architect with the ability to transition from project manager to lead designer to meet various project needs. Gary specializes in the activation of public spaces, master planning and sustainable site design. His ability to optimize the balance between function and aesthetics is possibly his greatest strength. Gary currently serves on the United States Green Building Council's Georgia Market Leadership Advisory Board. He also serves as the Northeast Georgia Section Chair for the Georgia Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects. Gary is a CLARB Certified Landscape Architect and currently holds licensure in Georgia, Tennessee, South Carolina and North Carolina.

Hugh "Chip" O. Brown

Chip Brown is an Owner and Principal of Breedlove Land Planning. As the firm's President, he leads the company's operations while also managing many projects and client relationships. Chip has extensive experience in master planning, design development, construction documentation and construction administration for a range of educational, municipal, parks and recreation and related athletic facilities. His awareness and understanding of the relationship between the natural and built environment provides depth to the Breedlove Land Planning design team. He has served on the Georgia State Board of Landscape Architects, and has over 15 years of experience serving in various capacities for the Council of Landscape Architectural Registration Board (CLARB).

Joe Moon

  • Project Manager
Joe Moon, Project Manager and Designer, earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Georgia in 2005. Before joining Breedlove in 2013, Joe worked in site design as well as residential construction. This early experience helped sharpen his site design skills in grading, hydrology, and erosion control design. Joe's construction experience enables him to create construction documents that consider all aspects of design from stakeholder use to functionality and constructability. He can often foresee construction conflicts early in the design phase, and he is a skilled problem solver when issues arise during construction administration. Outside of Breedlove, Joe is an accomplished and decorated angler, regularly competing in fishing tournaments.

Jon Qualls

Jon Qualls graduated from the University of Georgia in the summer of 2019 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. A native of Milledgeville, Georgia, Jon is a skilled designer who assists with everything from 3D renderings to erosion control plans. Since working at Breedlove, Jon has developed a strong passion for sustainable design and urban planning. He believes that incorporating native plants not only enhances the aesthetic appeal of a landscape but also promotes ecological sustainability. Jon's dedication to his craft and commitment to these practices make him a valuable asset to any project he undertakes. In his free time, Jon enjoys live music, sports, and walks with his wife and dog, Ned.

Kayloe Dawson

Kayloe Dawson, PE, has over 10 years of experience in the planning, design and construction administration of Civil Engineering projects, predominantly in Transportation and Public Works. Kayloe holds Bachelors of Science Degree's from Colorado State University (Hydrology) and Portland State University (Civil Engineering). He acquired his Professional Engineering license in 2011. Areas of experience and expertise includes: multi-modal transportation system planning and design; roadway design including forest roads, local roads, and major arterial streets and highways; pedestrian and bicycle facility design; open channel hydraulic modeling; storm drainage design; bridge analysis and design; and construction administration and inspection.

Laurel Fox

Laurel began working with Breedlove Land Planning as an intern in 2019, and later joined the team full time after graduating from the University of Georgia's College of Environment and Design with a degree in Landscape Architecture. At Breedlove, Laurel assists project teams with everything from planting design to stormwater management calculations. Laurel also has an extensive knowledge of native plant material which she enjoys putting into practice to make our projects more successful. In her free time Laurel enjoys collecting houseplants and spending time with friends and family as well as her dog, Olive, and her cat, Meatball.

Matt Tanner

Matt Tanner, PE, ASCE, LEED AP, is an Owner and Principal of Breedlove Land Planning, serving as the firm's Vice President of Engineering. His engineering background has accommodated a focused interest in site drainage, water quality, and storm water detention design, which has contributed to many of his projects being recognized for progressive and sustainable storm water systems. Matt's diverse project experience has included preliminary site design, construction documents, hydrology studies, permitting, construction administration, and site inspections for many educational, municipal, and sports facility projects. He has served as the President of the Northeast Georgia Branch as well as the Georgia Section of American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE). Matt also serves on the Advisory Board for the Civil Engineering program at UGA College of Engineering.

Michael Breedlove

With extensive experience and education in landscape architecture, Mr. Breedlove has coordinated, designed and managed thousands of multi-disciplined projects ranging from individual site design to large-scale master plans. His knowledge of site-sensitive planning and design and his awareness of protection and enhancement of our natural resources have helped to establish Breedlove Land Planning, Inc. as a forerunner in site-specific design, long before LEED became vogue. Mr. Breedlove has been highly involved in service to the profession of landscape architecture through his active involvement on the Georgia State Board of Landscape Architects for 18 years, serving as Chairman for the majority of those years. He also served as Regional Director for the Council of Landscape Architecture Registration Boards (CLARB), and Georgia Chapter President for the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA). The ASLA inducted him as Fellow 2000. Mr. Breedlove served on the Georgia State Legislature Technical Advisory Committee ("Dirt II") and also served with the GASWCC as Chairman of the "TAPC" Committee, ending with a final report for natural resource protection improvement recommendations dated January, 2006. Following his tenure on and with the Georgia State Board of Landscape Architects, he was recognized with a Commendation from Governor Sonny Perdue and with a Georgia State Legislature Commendation Resolution in April, 2010.

Ming Guan

Ming Guan obtained her Masters of Landscape Architecture in December 2018 from the University of Georgia. She came to the U.S. in 2016 as an international student after first obtaining her Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from Nanjing Forestry University in China. Ming completed her thesis on environmental education which focuses on the creation of interactive campus landscapes. Ming also possesses excellent visual communication skills including advanced 3D Rendering capabilities. In her free time Ming enjoys taking botanical photography, cooking (testing out new recipes), swimming and playing badminton.

Natalie Chapman

Natalie Chapman had her work cut out for her when she joined the firm in 2008, replacing a long-time Administrative Assistant. While adapting to a new accounting program, learning the nuances of the design industry, and answering phones all day, she also juggled being the go-to person for the entire office for project assistance. She was instrumental in helping the firm begin the process of going paperless in 2013. After years of helping to run the office, Natalie seamlessly moved into the role of Office Manager in 2015. When she is away from the office, Natalie enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.

Nathan Rhineheimer

Nathan graduated from the University of Georgia with his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture in 2020 and joined BLP full-time in the summer of 2021. Nathan's passion for landscape architecture is evident in his dedication to creating functional and aesthetically pleasing outdoor spaces. His expertise in site design allows him to effectively collaborate with the Breedlove team and contribute valuable insights to each project. With his diverse experience across different project sectors, Nathan brings a fresh perspective and innovative ideas to every assignment he undertakes. Outside of the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Kristen, hosting game nights with their friends, and keeping up with Atlanta and UGA sports.

Roger Wells

Roger Wells, RLA, LEED AP BD+C, began his professional career with Breedlove Land Planning in 2010 as an intern. After graduating from the University of Georgia in 2011 with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, Roger returned as a full-time employee. He has grown professionally with the company since then through unique project opportunities on a wide range of recreational, institutional, and commercial facilities at varying scales. Roger's extensive professional experience has equipped him with admirable design and project management skills and has accommodated his passion for sustainable and practical design.

Shelby Lucas

Shelby Lucas joined Breedlove in the fall of 2022 after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Kennesaw State University. Since working at Breedlove, Shelby has learned to balance her time between her roles as assistant office manager and marketing coordinator. She actively seeks out opportunities to expand her skill set and is always looking for innovative ways to improve the company's marketing strategies. Outside of work, Shelby enjoys spending time with her husband and son, shopping, and traveling.

Will Shiver

Will Shiver came to Breedlove Land Planning with several years of experience working for an engineering firm while pursuing a degree in civil engineering. He has vast experience in storm water management design, erosion control design, and conceptual planning. Will's strong analytical skills and attention to detail consistently contribute to the efficient execution of projects, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and delivering sustainable solutions. During his free time, Will enjoys spending time with his wife and playing a round of golf.
