LOCKLAND

Lockland celebrated the 150th anniversary of its Incorporation in 1999! Lockland's development was the direct result of its location on the Miami-Erie Canal. Following construction of four locks on the canal, the community was plotted in 1828 by Nicholas Longworth and Lewis Howell.
