LIBERTY

In 1997, the church formerly known as Mount Zion Assembly became Liberty Assembly with a dozen people as our church body. Just two years later, 13 acres of land was purchased on Route 20 in Shrewsbury in order to have a more central location and build a 400-seat auditorium. The facility was completed in December 2001, and the first service for Liberty Church was held just one month later with around 350 people in attendance. In October 2009, Liberty Church finished the expansion of our new facility, which included many additional rooms, a large children's area, and a new sanctuary with a seating capacity for up to 1,200 people. Currently, Liberty is a church community with more than 1,000 people in attendance during our two weekend services... Here at Liberty, we are a part of the fellowship of the Assemblies of God churches and we align with the sixteen tenets of faith established by the General Council of the Assemblies of God...
