The LVPPA was incorporated in 1947 and currently represents active and retired Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) police and corrections officers, and the Las Vegas Deputy City and Municipal Court Marshals. LVPPA's ongoing mission is to provide its members with the best benefits and services available, in partnership with providers, and fellow associations and organizations... The LVPPA is affiliated with the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO), Southern Nevada Conference of Police and Sheriffs (SNCOPS) and the "Big 50."... LVPPA's Law Enforcement Assistance Fund (LEAF) is dedicated to supporting the families of Southern Nevada police officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Every donation, big or small, helps us stay connected with the families of fallen officers and ensures that their children receive support at every milestone in their lives.
