Demi Dawkins, MD is a fellowship trained Neurosurgeon in Neuroendovascular/Cerebrovascular surgery. Dr. Dawkins earned her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University in Greenville, NC and completed her residency in Neurosurgery at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI. After residency, Dr. Dawkins completed a fellowship in Endovascular/Open Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery at Semmes Murphey Clinic/University of Tennessee in Memphis, TN which included an abroad rotation at Southmead Hospital in Bristol, England. Dr. Dawkins was born in Charlotte, NC but her 9-year training journey has resulted in her forming both Southern and Midwestern roots and she is happy to have settled down in Kansas City. Dr. Dawkins is a Neurosurgeon offering both spine and cranial services. She also has a subspecialty focus in Cerebrovascular Neurosurgery where due to her fellowship training she is uniquely capable of offering both open surgical and minimally invasive endovascular solutions

Dr. Jayson A. Neil

Dr. Jayson A. Neil is fellowship trained in skull base/cerebrovascular surgery and complex spine surgery. Dr. Neil received his Bachelor's degree from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah with honors, graduating summa cum laude. He subsequently attended medical school at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He completed his neurosurgery residency at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, NY which included training in pediatric neurosurgery at Maria Fareri Children's Hospital.Dr. Neil received one year of subspecialty training in complex spine surgery including degenerative spine, revision, deformity, and spine/spinal cord surgery under Dr. Kaushik Das at Westchester Medical Center in New York.

Dr. William S. Rosenberg

Dr. William S. Rosenberg attended Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts, graduating in 1987. He completed his neurosurgical residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, also in Boston, in 1993. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgery and a Diplomate of the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is currently President of the AANS/CNS Joint Section on Pain and the Past President and Founder of the Cancer Pain Research Consortium. Dr. Rosenberg serves on the Board of Directors for the American Association of Neurological Surgeons. Dr. Rosenberg began his career with the Mayfield Clinic in Cincinnati, Ohio (1994-1998), where he was the Director of Neurotrauma and Neurocritical Care at the University of Cincinnati and specialized in complex spinal surgery. He was then recruited to co-direct the Neurospinal Disorders Program in the Department of Neurosurgery at the University of California - San Francisco from 1998 to 2002, where he co-founded the Spinal Biomechanics laboratory at the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Rosenberg left academic neurosurgery in 2002, joining Midwest Neurosurgery Associates, out of a desire for greater focus on patient care and the ability to spend more time with family. In Kansas City, Dr. Rosenberg continued to pursue interests in complex spinal surgery. In addition, he expanded his area of expertise to include the treatment of chronic and cancer-related pain. He brought Cyberknife Radiosurgery to the Kansas City Area and served as Medical Director for the Menorah Cyberknife Center for its first 6 years. In addition to treating the entire range of complex spinal disorders, Dr. Rosenberg is actively involved in treating patients with such modalities as neuromodulation, intrathecal pharmacotherapy, peripheral nerve, spinal cord and deep brain stimulation. He is also very active in training other health care providers, curriculum development and lecturing, as well as designing and supervising clinical trials. Dr. Rosenberg is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, International Neuromodalation Society, North American Neuromodulation Society, AANS/CNS Joint Section on Pain, American Society of Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery, Missouri State Medical Society, Metropolitan Medical and the Kansas City Neurology/Neurosurgery Society. He provides editorial support for Neuromodulation, the official journal of the North American Neuromodalation Society and a number of other professional journals.
