Ben Nardella spent 8 years at PwC in its Technology assurance practice. Ben's industry experience includes aerospace and defense, cable and telecommunications, software, and automotive, auditing both public and private companies. Prior to PwC, Ben worked at a forensic accounting and business litigation consulting firm in Boston. Ben has his undergraduate degree from Union College (NY) and his MBA and MS in Accounting from Northeastern University. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Bob Nardella was associated with a big four accounting firm for nine years before leaving as a Senior Audit Manager. Bob has a vast amount of experience providing accounting and tax services to small and middle market clients and providing due diligence services for commercial lenders. Bob is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and is a Certified Public Accountant. Bob is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Turnaround Management Association of N.E., Inc.
Cameron Echevarria graduated from the University of New Hampshire in 2018 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting Concentration. Prior to joining the firm in 2022, Cameron worked for a private banking firm in Boston, MA. Since joining the firm, Cameron has specialized in field examinations.
Carolyn Misasi graduated from Boston College's Carroll School of Management in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance. She is a Certified Public Accountant. Prior to joining Nardella & Taylor in 2009, Carolyn served as Controller for a small consulting firm in Boston and spent two and a half years at a big four accounting firm in Boston. Her industry experience includes technology, government & defense, and manufacturing. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Carolyn performs and manages audits and field examinations in various industries, including manufacturing, services and retail.

Cathy Sun graduated from Georgia State University in 2004 with Master of Professional Accountancy. Cathy is a Certified Public Accountant and previously worked at a regional accounting firm until 2011. In addition, she has over 7 years financial experience working as Finance Director for small manufacturing companies and Audit Manager in China. Cathy is a registered member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Since joining the firm in 2019, Cathy has performed audits, reviews, and tax preparation.
Christine Marvin Charnock is a Partner and helps lead the field examinations division at the firm. Chris graduated from Tufts University in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering and is a Certified Public Accountant. After working as a Chemist for four years, Chris changed career paths and completed accounting coursework. Since joining the firm in 1998, Chris has worked in the Lender Services Group managing, reviewing and performing field examinations. Chris specializes in field examinations for the retail sector.
Christine Roche graduated from Bentley University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems Audit & Control and a Master of Science degree in Accountancy. She joined the firm after graduation to focus on retail field examinations. Christine is a Certified Public Accountant.
Conor O'Brien graduated from Boston College in 2007 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Conor joined the firm in the summer of 2007 and has since been performing field exams, specializing in the retail industry. Conor is a Certified Public Accountant.
Dan Hogan graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Providence College in 2010. After graduating, Dan worked in the audit services practice of a regional accounting firm in Boston. Since joining the firm in 2012, he has specialized in retail field exams. Dan has been a licensed CPA since 2013.
Dave Carrozza studied marketing at Northeastern University. He was associated with a large national department store for fourteen years held various merchandise planning and inventory management positions. Dave has a vast amount of retail experience in merchandise and assortment planning. Since joining the firm in 1996, Dave has been performing retail field exams.
Edward Taylor was associated with a big four accounting firm in Boston as an Audit Manager for six years prior to joining the firm. He was responsible for directing the accounting and audit activities for clients in a variety of industries with an emphasis on providing accounting and consulting services to closely-held emerging companies. Ed's responsibilities within the firm are concentrated in providing accounting, tax and consulting services to clients in many different industries. Ed graduated from Boston College and has been an Instructor in Boston College's Carroll School of Management since 1986. Ed also has a Masters of Science in Taxation degree from Bentley College. Ed is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Evan O'Brien graduated from the University of Vermont in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. Evan also minored in Accounting and History. He joined the firm in 2011 and has specialized in retail field exams since that time.

Giuseppina received her undergraduate degree from Boston College with a BA concentration in Accounting, cum laude. Giuseppina previously worked for a local CPA and wealth management firm as a tax supervisor working with individuals and private companies in various industries. In addition, she has a background in real estate.
James Ridge graduated from Assumption College in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a minor in Forensic Accounting. He earned his MBA from Assumption College in 2015. Prior to joining the firm, James worked at a small credit union in Worcester, MA. He joined the firm in 2015 and has specialized in retail field exams since then. James is currently pursuing his CPA license.
Jason Williams graduated from Boston College in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant. After graduation, Jason joined the firm and worked on both audit and tax returns, before moving to his current role of performing field exams. Jason manages the audit and lender services departments. Jason also teaches basic accounting courses at the Woods School for Advancing Studies at Boston College on a part-time basis.

She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a BA in English and a minor in Criminal Justice
John Griffin graduated from the Johns Hopkins University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics. John also minored in Accounting and Financial Management as well as Marketing. He joined the firm in 2022 and has specialized in retail field exams since that time.
Jonathon Rong graduated from Hofstra University in 2022 with a Bachelor's in business administration, Finance Concentration. Prior to joining the firm, Jonathon worked as an executive compensation consultant. Since joining Nardella, Jonathon has specialized in field examinations.
Kathryn D'Alessandro graduated from Providence College in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and minors in Finance and Writing. After graduation, Katie joined the firm and has specialized in retail and commercial field exams in various industries. Katie is currently pursuing a CPA license.
Kelvin Akyeampong graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Information Science from the University of Ghana in 2019 and with an Accounting Certificate from University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth in 2023. Prior to Nardella & Taylor, Kelvin worked in internal audit for a regional bank, consulting for a big four accounting firm in Ghana and Tax consulting with a small firm in Worcester, MA. He specializes in retail field exams. Kelvin is currently pursuing a certification in Public Accounting.
Lorie Dinapoli has worked at the firm since 1986. She initially performed administrative functions. Lorie currently provides bookkeeping services for clients and prepares tax returns.
Mariann Lindquist received a Master of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts - Amherst's School of Management in 1989 and is a Certified Public Accountant. She was associated with a big four public accounting firm from 1989 to 1997, where she performed audits as part of the manufacturing, high-tech, government and not-for-profit group practices. Mariann joined the firm in 1997 and manages audits, reviews and tax return preparation for private companies in various industries, with special expertise in not-for-profits and employee benefit plans. In 2008, she received a certificate in financial planning from Merrimack College and passed the CFP Board exam. Mariann is a registered representative in Massachusetts, and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants.
Meghan Rizzi graduated from Boston College's Carroll School of Management in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. After graduation, she worked for a Big 4 accounting firm and then as an Audit Manager at a regional accounting firm until December 2022. Meghan is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Michael McCaffrey graduated from the University of Massachusetts College of Management in 2017 with Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Accounting Concentration. Prior to joining the firm in 2019, Michael worked in the hospitality and pharmaceutical industries. Since joining the firm, Michael has been specializing in retail field examinations.
Michelle Mastroianni Roach leads the firm's Lender Services Group for the retail sector. Prior to joining the firm in 1997, Michelle worked in the internal audit department at a large multi-national bank and in the audit services practice of a big four accounting firm. Michelle graduated from Boston College's Carroll School of Management and is a Certified Public Accountant. Michelle is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants, and the Turnaround Management Association of N.E., Inc.
Paula Screnci-Vacaro received an MBA from the University of California Irvine in 1991. Prior to joining the firm in 2006, Paula was employed at various medium and small public accounting firms in the Boston area. Her experience includes small business and nonprofit auditing, reviews and tax return preparation. She is also a certified QuickBooks Advisor. Paula performs nonprofit and employee benefit plan audits, small business reviews and compilations, and prepared corporate and individual tax returns for the firm. Paula also developed a career match and college counseling program for high school sophomores and juniors in 2008 and teaches it annually at a local academy.
Rebecca Comjean graduated from the University of Vermont in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, and received an Advanced Accounting Certificate from Northeastern University in 1997. Rebecca is a Certified Public Accountant, and earned a Masters Degree in Taxation from Bentley College in 2002. Rebecca served as a tax specialist at a local CPA firm before joining the firm in 2001. Rebecca is a manager in the firm's tax practice.
Robert Gramolini graduated from Boston College's Carroll School of Management in 2005 and earned a Masters of Science in Accounting from the Boston College Carroll School of Management in 2006. Robert is a Certified Public Accountant and previously worked at a regional accounting firm until November 2009. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Massachusetts Society of Certified Public Accountants. Since January 2010, Robert has been performing field exams and compliance audits for the firm.
Scott Duchesneau joined Nardella & Taylor in 2012 where he was involved in compliance and tax. After a break in 2021, Scott returned to the firm in 2022 to specialize in taxes. Before Scott came to Nardella & Taylor, he spent four years with local CPA firms in eastern MA, received a BS and MS in accounting from Bentley University, and became a licensed CPA in Massachusetts in 2012.
Shelli joined Nardella & Taylor as the Office Manager in January of 2022. Prior roles have included serving as VP of Administration at Future Farm Technologies, Inc., Office Manager at Converted Organics Inc., and being part of the management team at TerraSphere Systems, a pioneer in the vertical farming business. Shelli graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a BS in Biology and a minor in Psychology.
Tom Araujo graduated from Bryant College in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting. Tom worked in the retail industry and the asset based lending industry prior to joining Nardella & Taylor in 2016. Tom performs retail field examinations.
Torey Engell graduated from Bryant University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and minor in Mathematics. In 2015 she received a Masters in Accountancy from Stetson University. Prior to joining Nardella & Taylor, Torey worked for a small consulting firm in Providence, RI. She joined the firm in January 2016 and specializes in retail field exams. Torey is currently pursuing a CPA license.
