Dr. Brandi M. Miller

Dr. Miller began her career as a veterinarian in an emergency and critical care practice, lending to a wide scope of clinical experience in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Her professional interests include feline medicine, surgery, and senior care. In her free time, Dr. Miller enjoys visiting events and exhibits in Houston's museum district and hiking.

Dr. Casey D. Lee

  • Veterinarian
Dr. Casey Lee earned her veterinary degree from Texas A&M University in 2012, graduating summa cum laude. Dr. Lee is also board certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, specializing in canine and feline practice. As an ABVP Diplomate, Dr. Lee is committed to upholding the highest standards of clinical practice and has proven knowledge and expertise above and beyond what is required to practice veterinary medicine. She brings extensive soft tissue surgical experience to our practice as well, having performed hundreds of emergency surgeries at a local veterinary emergency center. In addition to surgery, her areas of interest include ultrasound, dentistry, and oral surgery, and preventive medicine. Dr. Lee has been part of the Neartown Animal Clinic family for years, first joining our team as a technician in 2007 before going to veterinary school, then returning following graduation as an associate veterinarian. She then spent 8 years at a highly respected practice in Houston, training and practicing alongside three other board-certified veterinarians. She obtained her diplomate status in 2019, before returning home to Neartown Animal Clinic.

Dr. Lauren M. Johnston

Dr. Johnston began her career in veterinary medicine 15 years ago, working as a veterinary assistant and technician prior to becoming a veterinarian. Following graduation, she practiced as an emergency clinician at a high-volume practice in Houston, and gained additional surgical and dentistry experience through her work with a local non-profit practice. Dr. Johnston brings to Neartown Animal Clinic a wealth of knowledge and technical expertise gained through the management of acute and critical patients, and is committed to providing excellent care at every visit. She spends her free time hiking and kayaking with her family, and running with her German Shepherd.

Megan George

Job Titles:
  • Hospital Manager
Megan earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Kansas State in 2001 and her Associates in Applied Science degree in 2010. She began her career in the veterinary field in 2012 working as a Receptionist for a general veterinary practice in Naples, Florida. Megan moved to Houston in 2013 and continued her career in the veterinary industry. She has worked as a Receptionist, Pharmacy Assistant, and Inventory Manager. Megan became the Practice Manager for Neartown Animal Clinic in 2021 and oversees the general business operations. She has been a foster mom to numerous Dobermans and is a devoted cat and dog lover. In her spare time, Megan enjoys relaxing at Memorial Park or the beach in Galveston. She is also an avid Astros and Texans fan!
