Aaron Guy is in his third year as the video assistant at Morehead State after serving as a student video crew member for four years.
Guy films, produces and edits many of the creative weekly videos. He also serves in a primary technical director and producer position during ESPN+ broadcasts.
In addition to his duties on video, Guy handles much of the graphic design work for publications.
He is a two-time graduate of Morehead State.

Alan Joseph, who coached 18 All-Americans and two Olympians during a 20+ year career leading the Xavier rifle program, is now in his 11th season as head rifle coach at Morehead State.
He was named OVC Coach of the Year in 2019, 2021 and 2022. During his tenure, 74 student-athletes have earned all-conference awards.
Joseph led the Eagles to the program's first-ever Ohio Valley Conference championship in 2019-20, winning the Smallbore and overall titles. Seven Eagles were named all-conference, and Elizabeth Plecity was the program's first-ever OVC Freshman of the Year. During the 2021-22 season, three athletes achieved the highest averages in program history.

Coming over fellow Ohio Valley Conference school UT Martin, Alex Lozado is in his first year on the Morehead State coaching staff.
He started as volunteer assistant at UTM and was promoted to full-time assistant coach in 2024.
Lozado's first season at UT Martin, in 2023, saw the Skyhawks post a program-most 14 OVC wins, tying for the second-most in the league and entering the OVC Tournament as the No. 3 seed.
One of Morehead State's top shooters in recent history has returned to help her alma mater's rifle program. Amber Schifano is the new volunteer assistant coach for Head Coach Alan Joseph's Eagle rifle team.
Schifano is a 2022 MSU graduate and is currently enrolled in the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, Rural Physician Leadership Program. Her curriculum includes completing her clinical medical rotations in Morehead for the next two years. Since starting medical school, Schifano has been passionately involved in volunteering with the pediatrics interest group and was a president for the Learning Communities Student Organization. Outside of the hospital, she has continued her rifle career by competing in the Eagle Open at MSU and the West Virginia University Open Match.
As an Eagle, she had many accomplishments on the range and in the classroom. She was a member of MSU's 2020 OVC Championship team. Schifano was an All-OVC selection in Air Rifle in 2020, 2021 and 2022.
Academically, she was named an OVC Scholar Athlete for the 2020-21 year. Schifano was a member of the George M. Luckey, Jr. Honors Program at MSU, graduating with full Academic Honors. She was also named the class of 2022 Outstanding College of Science Student and Outstanding Pre-Medicine Student.
Schifano is excited to live out MSU's phrase "Once an Eagle always an Eagle" by joining MSU's staff as volunteer assistant rifle coach and continuing her involvement in a sport she is so passionate about while being a mentor for current rifle athletes.

A Kentucky native who has already developed a winning career, Ashton Feldhaus, is in her first year as Head Women's Basketball Coach at Morehead State.
Feldhaus, a native of Richmond, Ky., is the 13 th head coach in MSU program history.
Feldhaus takes over the Eagle program following a 20-win campaign in her first and only season as head coach at Missouri Western in St. Joseph, Mo in 2024-25. The Griffons were a preseason No. 7 pick in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association but finished third and earned an at-large berth to the NCAA Division II tournament.
Feldhaus has earned status on the Women's Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) 30 Under 30 Class.
Feldhaus' athletic pedigree runs deep in the Bluegrass State. Her father Allen was a standout at Eastern Kentucky and is currently the head boys' basketball coach at Madison Central High School in Richmond. Her uncle Deron was a notable player at the University of Kentucky, while her uncle Willie was a member of the Morehead State men's basketball program from 1984-85 through 1986-87. Ashton's mother Karen is the head cheerleading coach at Madison Central.
Prior to taking the reins at Missouri Western, Feldhaus served five seasons as the top assistant and associate head coach for Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Fla.
She helped guide the Tritons to five straight Division II tournament appearances, most recently during a the 2023-24 season when Eckerd had a 20-12 campaign and won the Sunshine State Conference Tournament championship. The Tritons posted a 91-28 overall record during her five-year tenure.
She was instrumental in developing two all-conference selections in Octavia Loll (First-Team) and Zoe Richards (Second-Team). She also served as the team's academic advisor as the Tritons ranked third nationally on the WBCA Academic Top 25 Honor Roll with a 3.78 GPA in the 2019-20 season.
In the 2021-22 season, as the program's recruiting coordinator, she secured two all-conference selections in Lauryn Vieira - the SSC Defensive Player of the Year - and Sofia Persson who was Second-Team and All-Newcomer. She also was key in the development and coaching of the SSC Player of the Year, Maya Price.
During the 2022-23 season, she helped guide the program to monumental heights, including the sixth consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament and the program's first Sweet 16 appearance. Eckerd ended the season at No. 9 in the WBCA Poll and reached a season-best No. 5 in November. The team set five single-season program records, while five players set single-season records and three career program records. She also helped guide Persson to WBCA Honorable Mention All-American, D2CCA All-Region, and SSC First-Team honors. She also aided Vieira to back-to-back SSC SSC Defensive Player of the Year accolades and Price to another First-Team All-SSC honor.
Feldhaus is also familiar with the Ohio Valley Conference. She was a student-athlete at UT Martin after transferring following a season at Butler.
Following her freshman year at Butler, Feldhaus transferred to UT Martin, missing two seasons due to the NCAA transfer rule and an injury. Feldhaus then earned Second-Team All-OVC honors and OVC All-Newcomer honors and was a six-time conference Newcomer of the Week while averaging 11.0 points and 5.1 rebounds per game in her first full season. As a senior, she also earned Second-Team All-OVC.
A standout high school player in the Bluegrass, she played for head coach Robert Cooksey at Madison Central High School. Feldhaus helped her team win four straight district championships (2010-13) and two region titles (2011, 2013). She was selected as a Kentucky All-Star after her junior and senior year. Feldhaus was a three-time All-District selection and a two-time All-Region honoree. She earned First-Team All-State honors as a senior.
Feldhaus earned her bachelor's degree in communications and a Master's Degree in family and consumer Science from UT Martin.
In his first season, Austin Schmidt coaches the Eagle running backs.
Schmidt came to the Eagle program following a highly successful five-year stint in various roles at his alma mater, Minnesota State-Mankato.
He served as video coordinator from 2019 through 2021 seasons, then transitioned to director of football operations for the 2022 season. In 2023, he was elevated to running backs coach.
During Schmidt's time in Mankato, the Mavericks combined for a 39-12 record and made three Division II playoff appearances, including reaching the championship game during a 14-1 campaign in 2019.
During the 2023 season, he coached Shen Butler-Lawson, who rushed for 1,446 yards to rank sixth in the nation - along with 15 rushing touchdowns. Butler-Lawson earned All-American honors and was a nominee for DII's top player and the Harlon Hill Trophy.
Schmidt earned his bachelor's degree in sports management from MSU-M in 2021 and earned a Master's Degree there in business administration in 2023.

Ben Sisson is in his second season on the men's basketball staff after a successful playing career at Kentucky Wesleyan.
Sisson was an integral part in Morehead State's 2023-24 Ohio Vallley Conference regular season and tournament championship team.
A native of Fort Thomas, Ky., and a product of Highlands High School, Sisson was named to the All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference team in 2022-23. The Panthers' 2022-23 team captain was also a three-time Academic All-GMAC honoree and twice earned the Doug Kingsley "Heart of the Team" Award.
He scored more than 700 career points and corralled more than 400 rebounds. Sisson also compiled 80 career blocked shots and shot 62 percent for his four-year career in Owensboro.
At Highlands, Sisson was awarded the 2019 Region 9 Player of the Year accolade.
He earned his bachelor's degree in history from KWC.

Brad Laux returned to the Morehead State Media Relations Office in the fall of 2021 after spending 16 years as a sports writer and editor for various newspapers in Northeastern Kentucky, as well as operating the website 1016Sports.com, which covers high school sports in Kentucky's 10th and 16th Regions. He previously served as MSU's Assistant Sports Information Director from 1998-2005.
Laux served as a graduate assistant in the Women's Media Relations Office at the University of Tennessee from 1996-98, where he received his Masters' Degree in Sports Management. Prior to that, he spent three years as an intern in the George Mason University Sports Information Office.
Originally from Springfield, Va., Laux is a 1992 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. He spent four years as the manager of the Spartan men's basketball team and a semester in the UNCG Sports Information Office.

Moffett was named MSU's Marketing, Promotions and Fan Engagement Coordinator in July 2024.
She has been a part of Morehead State Athletics since 2019 when she began as a work study, and is now serving in her current role as Morehead State Athletics' Marketing, Promotions, and Fan Engagement Coordinator.
A native of Crittenden, Ky., Moffett graduated from Walton Verona High School. Her involvement with Morehead State Athletics began as a work study when she was an undergraduate. She graduated in 2022, with a bachelor's degree in Sports Management. She continued her role with the Athletics Department as a Graduate Assistant while pursuing her Masters in Business Administration. She earned her Masters in May 2024.
The former Breanna Russo was married in 2024.

Brendan Lynch joined the Morehead State staff in June 2024. A native of Allentown, Pennsylvania, Lynch completed his undergraduate at West Virginia University. While at WVU, he worked as a Student with the Football, Cross Country/Track, Wrestling and Baseball programs.
Lynch moved the University of South Carolina for his graduated studies, where he worked with the USC Football Program. He also served as Head Athletic Trainer at Eau Claire High School in Columbia where oversaw over 300 student-athletes over 19 teams.

Broderick Moore joined the Morehead State Training Staff in June 2024.
Moore completed his undergraduate work at Alice Lloyd College with a BS in Kinesiology and a BA in Sports Management. He was a standout on the mound for the Alice Lloyd Baseball team, lettering all four years. He ended his career with over 200 innings pitched and finished in the top five all-time in wins at the school.
Moore earned his Masters in Athletic Training at Eastern Kentucky University.
A native of Owingsville, Moore has spent the last three years at Bath County High School as the Head Athletic Trainer.

Chris Rose, a highly accomplished coach in the junior college ranks, is in his fourth year on the Morehead State baseball staff and has been appointed full-time Head Coach for the 2025 season.
Rose has been awarded a Coach of the Year honor six times in his career.
Un his time on MSU's staff, Rose helped coach some of the most prolific players in program history, including Roman Kuntz in 2024 when he set the school and conference records for home runs and RBI in a season. He also helped mentor Ryley Preece, career record holder in multiple categories at MSU.
Rose was an assistant coach at Gulf Coast College, where he served for the 2020 and 2021 seasons. Rose helped coach the conference Player of the Year, while GCC led its league in home runs both seasons. He coached four additional all-conference players.
From 2011-18, Rose was head coach at East Mississippi College. He led all the conference coaches in most players drafted, most playing at four-year schools, most playing at Division I programs, most playing in the SEC, most receiving baseball scholarships, and highest average D1 baseball scholarships per players coached. Rose had four players drafted from 2014-17 with the program only having five total players drafted in the previous 48 years before Rose led the team.
The Lions were the 2014 division champions, 2015 MACJC runners-up and Region 23 tournament participant and took part in the state tournament in 2011, 2014, 2015 and 2017. His team was nationally ranked in three seasons, including the highest ranking in program history.
Prior to East Mississippi, Rose was the head coach at Meridian Community College from 2005-10, where he helped guide the team to a 41-12 record and a 22-0 record at home. His 2005-06 recruiting class included 12 all-state players, the Mississippi "Mr. Baseball" and the No. 2-rated player in Canada. As pitching coach, he helped one of his athletes to the Mississippi Junior College Pitcher of the Year. In each season he was at the helm, Meridian won either a conference championship, state championship, or region championship.
He began his coaching foray at his alma mater, Mobile (Ala.), where he was for three seasons. His teams led the league in lowest ERA all three seasons, and Mobile took part in the 2001 College World Series.
Originally from Findlay, Ohio, Rose was a four-year letterman at Mobile where was a catcher. He graduated from Mobile with a Bachelor's Degree in business communication.

Clay Dixon is now entering his eighth year of coaching men's and women's cross country and track & field and his sixth as the program's head coach. He led the Eagle cross country teams in 2019 as an interim head coach before being promoted after that season. He also spent two years as an assistant under former MSU coach Steve Picucci.
He joined the MSU coaching ranks after being a member of the cross country and track teams from 2012-2017. While at MSU, he was part of the men's 4x800-meter relay school-record squad his freshman year. Dixon competed at the Ohio Valley Conference Championship in track and field three times.

Former Morehead State pitching standout Dalton Stambaugh is in his first season as an Assistant Coach to the Eagle Baseball coaching staff.
In 2019 as a redshirt junior, Stambaugh posted a 7-4 record with a 3.84 ERA. His 104 strikeouts total was the fifth-highest single-season total in program history. He was named to the All-OVC First Team and was drafted in the 30th round of the MLB Draft by the Baltimore Orioles.
In his career at Morehead State, he posted a 17-12 record with a 5.61 ERA, 1.47 WHIP. He held opponents to a .286 batting average and piled up 238 strikeouts. Those 17 wins are tied for eighth-most in program history.
He played three seasons of Minor League baseball for both the Orioles and Cubs organizations. He posted a career 31-17 record with a 5.03 ERA. He averaged 8.6 strikeouts per nine innings with a 1.439 WHIP

Dean Hardin joined the Morehead State Media Relations Office in August 2024 after several years of service around the Morehead State Athletics program. Hardin returned to MSU for the 2017-18 basketball season serving as the analyst for Men's Basketball for the Eagle Sports Network. He transitioned to the role of analyst for Morehead State's Men's and Women's Basketball ESPN+ broadcasts in 2019-20. He added play-by-play responsibilities for Volleyball in 2022.
He will serve as the primary media contact for Men's Golf, Women's Basketball, Baseball and Beach. He will continue his broadcast roles in Volleyball and Basketball in this new role, adding play-by-play duties for the ESPN+ broadcasts for Baseball in Spring 2025.
A Morehead native, Hardin is an active collegiate and high school baseball umpire. He and his wife, Jennifer, reside in Morehead.

Dr. Angie Meyer is in her sixth year on the Morehead State EAGLE Center staff as its learning coordinator.
Meyer's position was originally in conjunction with the NCAA's Accelerating Academic Success Grant. Morehead State was awarded one of six $360,000 grants from the NCAA in 2013. The university also contributed $180,000 for a total of $540,000. The grant was renewed for the 2014 calendar year. The EAGLE Center is Morehead State's 7,000-square foot facility dedicated to student-athlete academic success.
Meyer was the coordinator for the Newton Campus Learning and Tutoring Center at Georgia Perimeter College from 2003-12. In her time, she expanded the center's staff from three part-time tutors to two full-time supervisors and approximately 30 part-time tutors.
She served as president of the Georgia Tutoring Association in 2010 and spent several years on the executive board of the Association for the Tutoring Profession.
Meyer most recently spent one year as a house parent at the Junior Sports Corporation in Hilton Head, S.C., which served students at the Ivan Lendl Tennis and Heritage Academies.
She has held memberships with the National Association for Developmental Education, College Reading and Learning Association, National Collegiate Learning Centers Association, American Economic Development Council and Southern Economic Development Council.
Meyer earned her bachelor's degree in English and history from Troy State in 1991. She earned her master's degree in economic development with an emphasis on research from Southern Mississippi in 1993. She earned her Doctorate degree in 2021.

Dr. Darrin DeMoss, a professor of biology who has served at Morehead State for more than 20 years, is now serving as Faculty Athletics Representative.
The Faculty Athletics Representative serves a vital role as liaison between the athletic department and the faculty on campus. He will also be heavily involved in the processes of eligibility for student-athletes and ensuring coaches are compliant with current NCAA recruiting rules and standards. He will work closely with the academic staff at the EAGLE Center as well as the compliance staff.
DeMoss's teaching emphases include anatomy and physiology, the development of the biology area of concentration and the development of the biomedical science area of concentration. He has helped develop, implement or revise eight courses at Morehead State.
DeMoss has served on MSU's NCAA certification team, as well as serving as the chair of the compliance certification for reaffirmation in the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. He has also served on the St. Claire Regional Medical Center Institutional Review Board.
He has concentrated his academic research on "Age & Drug Related Changes in Skeletal Physiology" and the "Effects of Microgravity on Gliobastoma Cells."
DeMoss has authored six manuscripts and had more than 20 published abstracts. He also has more than 70 scientific oral/poster presentations to his name and has served on 22 thesis committees. DeMoss has mentored more than 30 undergraduate students on research projects.
He has served as an advisor to the Morehead State chapter of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity and also the Pre-Physician Club.
DeMoss earned his bachelor's degree in biology from Morehead State in 1989 and received his master's degree in biology from MSU in 1991. He earned his doctorate in biomedical sciences from the Marshall University School of Medicine in 1996.
DeMoss has three daughters, Cara Perry (MSU graduate 2014), Bethany Wagoner (MSU graduate 2015) and Emilee. Emilee is a freshman member of the Morehead State soccer team.
