Jay M. Niederman

Jay Niederman founded the firm in 1977 and transitioned into retirement in 2019. He remains involved with the firm and continues to support its successful and seamless transition to its other shareholders. Jay was admitted to the New Hampshire Bar in 1974. He lectured extensively on collections, commercial law and related subjects for various organizations, including the New Hampshire Bar Association, New Hampshire Bankers Association, Commercial Law League of America, National Employment Lawyers Association, New Hampshire Technical College and The Franklin Pierce Law School. He regularly presented a seminar titled "Debtor-Creditor" as part of the New Hampshire Bar Association's Practical Skills Course for newly-admitted New Hampshire attorneys. Jay served on the New Hampshire Bar Association Committees on Continuing Legal Education, Ethics and Fee Dispute Resolution. He was a member of the Commercial Law League of America. He has served as Treasurer and Legislative Chairperson for the New England Regional Members Association of the Commercial Law League. He was also a member of the National Creditors Bar Association (NCBA).

Kristin Lindsey

Kristin Lindsey is managing shareholder and has more than 30 years experience representing local and national creditors regarding their commercial and consumer collection needs. Kristin has developed proficiency in complex collection matters, including construction claims, mechanic's liens, bond claims, bankruptcy and insurance matters. In addition to her responsibilities as a creditors' rights attorney, Kristin manages the firm's employees and oversees the firm's general operation. She also attends industry conferences and serves as a liaison for some of the firm's largest clients. Kristin is a member of the Commercial Law League of America and the National Creditors Bar Association. In addition, as a member of the NH Bar Association, she co-presents the "Debtor-Creditor" session of the two-day practical skills course held twice a year for newly admitted NH attorneys. In her personal time, Kristin enjoys boxing, spending time with her two adult children and visiting family at their summer home on Squam Lake, the setting for the movie "On Golden Pond."

R.J. Meurin

R.J. Meurin joined the firm in January 2020 upon Jay Niederman's retirement. He was previously employed as a county prosecutor where he served as lead counsel in a variety of complex criminal matters. R.J. has extensive trial experience and has litigated dozens of cases through jury trial. R.J.'s role at the firm will focus on litigation surrounding insurance subrogation, creditors' rights and the enforcement of judgments and court orders. He continues to handle trials at the superior and circuit court levels and his work is dedicated to obtaining financial relief for creditors in civil disputes.

Thomas E. Walker

Job Titles:
  • Paralegal
Tom joined the firm as a Paralegal in 1997. He became the Senior Litigation Paralegal in 2000, working on complex collection matters including insurance subrogation, workers compensation premiums, automobile leases and deficiencies, as well as conducting legal research for the firm. He continued his employment throughout law school and became an Associate upon his admission to the New Hampshire Bar in 2007. He was made a shareholder in January 2014.
