Ann Kolwitz

Job Titles:
  • Certified Physician
Dr. Kolwitz is a board certified physician in obstetrics and gynecology. After training at Ohio State University and the University of Michigan, she worked at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit Michigan. She then moved to our beautiful state of Washington to work at Overlake Medical Center in Bellevue as an obstetrician-gynecologist.

Arif Khan

Job Titles:
  • Board Certified Psychiatrist Former Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry
Dr. Khan is a Board Certified Psychiatrist, former Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry at Duke University School of Medicine and an Adjunct Professor of Clinical Medicine at the Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences. Dr. Khan has been conducting clinical trials in the greater Seattle area since 1984 and founded the NorthWest Clinical research Center (NWCRC) in 1995. He has been the Principal Investigator in over 600 clinical trials. In addition, he has published more than 175 scientific papers in leading medical journals. His work on clinical trial design, safety and efficacy is widely recognized and presented at both national and international scientific meetings.

Arun Arora

Job Titles:
  • Board Certified Psychiatrist, Clinical Assistant Professor
Dr. Arora is originally from India and went to St. Petersburg, Russia for his medical education. He graduated with his MBA in Healthcare Administration from University of Findlay in Ohio. Dr. Arora completed his residency in psychiatry with the University of Kansas, Kansas City. He has over ten years of experience with clinical research trials. He would like to continue expanding and advancing treatment options through research. He believes that in advancing medicine and research, he will have the opportunity to help people by preventing, diagnosing, and treating various disorders.

Gaylon Kipp

Job Titles:
  • Board Certified Primary Care Physician
Dr. Kipp is a Board Certified primary care physician and has provided care to patients for over 30 years. He is currently a Principal investigator and has contributed to over 65 clinical trials here at NWCRC. When asked about his work, he says, "I enjoy patient contact and knowing that I'm making a difference through research."

Nazia Rahman

Job Titles:
  • Board Certified Pediatrician, Primary Care Physician
Dr. Rahman is a board-certified pediatrician. She completed her medical education at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC and her pediatric residency training at MetroHealth Medical Center/Case Western Reserve University Program in Cleveland, Ohio. After completing her training, she worked as a general pediatrician at Texas Children's Pediatrics in Houston. Dr. Rahman is bringing her skills to clinical research that is directly aimed at expanding and advancing treatment options and improving outcomes for infants, children, and adolescents. "As a pediatrician, I'm excited to work in research aimed at expanding and advancing treatment options for younger patient populations."

Sarvesh Gyawali

Job Titles:
  • General Practice Physician, Radiologist
Dr. Gyawali is a medical graduate from Calcutta University (2005). He has postgraduate qualifications in radiology and nuclear medicine, with emphasis on intervention neuroradiology, from West China School of Medicine, Sichuan University (2013). He also did a fellowship/training in hepatology and trained in cancer radio-intervention (TACE, TARE, RFA etc.), in Taiwan. He has been a research fellow in Northwest Clinical Research Center for two years and been a medical sub-investigator for more than 50 clinical trials.
