Andrea DeMeo

Mrs. DeMeo has been teaching since 1988. She began teaching Social Studies, particularly Economics, Participation in Government and Global Studies. She began teaching special education in 1999. She has taught resource room across grades 7-12, as well as self-contained Math and English.

Cathy Crocco

Bio Mrs. Crocco has been active in music ministry and directing choirs and ensembles for more than 30 years, Beginning at St. Columba Church in Hopewell Jct., she formed and directed the first parish youth choir and was the founding director of music for the LIFETEEN ministry. For the past six years she has served as the music director and principal cantor for the parish of St. John the Evangelist/St. Joachim in Beacon, NY. Mrs. Crocco joined the OLL faculty as choral director shortly after an invitation to coordinate music for the Baccalaureate Mass for the class of 1998 and has been grateful for the opportunity ever since. All four of her children are graduates of Lourdes (Chris '99, Claudia '01, Andrew '03, Daniel '05.) She received her music education degree at SUNY Dutchess and studied the history and principles of sacred music at St. Joseph's Seminary in Dunwoodie.

Celeste Ormerod

Mrs. Ormerod has 12 years of teaching experience in the Brewster Central School District. This is her 5th year teaching Biology Regents at Our Lady of Lourdes. Mrs. Ormerod is the moderator of the Cancer Awareness Club and in her free time, she is a volunteer with Guiding Eyes for the Blind and enjoys hiking, scrapbooking and bird watching!

Derrick Damiano

Mr. Damiano has been teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes for more than 20 years. He is the counselor for grade 10 (A - M) and grade 11. He also teaches College Psychology.

James Clement

This is Mr. Clement's seventh year teaching at Lourdes. He has taught all four grade levels. This year he is teaching Religion 9 - Morality and Religion 12 - Miracles. He is currently working on a Master's Degree in Catechetics and Evangelization (MACE) through Franciscan University. Prior to teaching, Mr. Clement was a Director of Youth Ministry for four years working with teenagers and their families. Mr. Clement is passionate about the Church's mission of leading all souls to Jesus Christ both in and out of the classroom.

John Cassidy

Mr. Cassidy is a seasoned educator with 32 years of classroom experience. He spent the past 30 years working at Poughkeepsie High School where he taught Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Pre-Calculus. He holds permanent certification in Mathematics in the State of New York. Mr. Cassidy began his teaching career at Franciscan High School, a small Catholic high school in Mohegan Lake, NY. He is excited to be back at a Catholic institution and is looking forward to working with students at Our Lady of Lourdes High School.

John Fitzsimmons

Mr. Fitzsimmons is in his tenth year of teaching, his ninth at Our Lady of Lourdes. He has taught numerous courses in the Social Studies and Theology departments. This year, Mr. Fitzsimmons is teaching Advanced Placement US History, Honors US History, and College Sociology. Mr. Fitzsimmons is passionate about fostering in his students an appreciation and understanding of our nation's history. He also serves as the faculty moderator of the National Honor Society and as the Theology department coordinator.

Karen Graham

Ms. Graham has been a teacher since September 1991. She has been teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes since September 2007. Throughout her career, she has endeavored to instill a love of learning and literature in her students. She believes that through literature students can develop an understanding of the human condition and better understand themselves and others.

Katherine Berkley

Ms. Berkley pursued her teaching certificate in Florida and has been in education for about 15 years. She is a Certified Instructional Coach (University of Florida) and a Clinical Educator. Both of these roles are about supporting/training new and veteran teachers with best practices, new strategies for teaching, technology, etc. She has worked with K-12 grade students; all content areas; the school & district levels Her favorite class in high school was math. "I love the content but also that we're teaching students to be problem solvers! The skills you learn in math class will help you no matter what career you pursue."

Laura Smith

Ms. Smith currently teaches Regents Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Introduction to Forensic Science. This is her third year at Our Lady of Lourdes High School. She is excited to learn and grow as an educator. Ms. Smith is the moderator of the People of Color Culture Club (POCC) at OLL.

Lauren Katz

Mrs. Katz is currently in her fifteenth year of teaching and her twelfth year at Our Lady of Lourdes. She is currently the English Department Coordinator and teaches 11th grade AP English Language and Composition, World Masterpieces, and Introduction to College Writing. Mrs. Katz believes that the skills taught in the English classroom are the core of our ability to communicate with one another and that developing our skills of communication in all genres will better prepare our students for the challenges within and beyond their high school experience. She strives to create a classroom community that embodies the Catholic culture and principles of Our Lady of Lourdes High School, and feels blessed to be a part of such a vibrant and outstanding community.

Lorraine Delgado

Lorraine Delgado is a graduate of the class of '74 from Our Lady of Lourdes High School. She has been teaching at Lourdes since 1995. Lorraine has taught in public as well as private schools since 1979 and spent one year abroad studying at the University of Madrid, Spain. She also has a concentration of credits in Bilingual Education and English as a Second Language and has permanent certification in the State of New Jersey in Spanish, grades 7-12.

Maria Daly

Mrs. Daly has been at Our Lady of Lourdes since March of 2000. Before that, she held teaching positions at Iona Preparatory, John A. Coleman, and Monsignor Scanlon High Schools. Mrs. Daly has also taught Expository Writing for the Department of English at New York University. All have been exciting and rewarding experiences. Mrs. Daly has dabbled in German, Latin, French, Portuguese, and Arabic, and is learning Russian at present but she is fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish. The progress that her students make is a constant motivator and inspiration.

Megann Orton

Ms. Orton is currently in her third year of teaching at Our Lady of Lourdes. She grew up in Highland and attended to Highland High School where she played soccer, basketball, and softball. Currently, Ms. Orton teaches Integrated Geometry, Algebra 1B, and Applied Mathematics this year. She enjoys summer and any long breaks in Lake George (her home away from home) and her free time involves lots of family, her animals, and DIY projects in her house.

Meggan Troupe

Mrs. Troupe is currently a MAT student at Liberty University Online. A few of her hobbies include sewing, crocheting, scrapbook, reading, and writing. When it comes to teaching, she loves helping students discover new passions. "Studying science is an adventure that never ends. Many people don't realize they enjoy it until they try it.", she said.

Miles Hansen

Mr. Hansen is the Lourdes Athletic Trainer and teaches Health Sciences and Strength Training Classes. He oversees athlete rehabilitation, coordinates weight room workouts, and monitors athletes in all aspects. Mr. Hansen is married to his wife, Danielle for 11 years and they have two children, Peyton and Parker.

Mr. Matthew Petruzzelli

Bio Mr. Matthew Petruzzelli has moved into the position of Athletic Director of the Lourdes Program and will service the varied and expansive athletic needs of this College Preparatory High School serving over forty teams and five hundred student athletes. Originally hailing from New Paltz, New York, Mr. Petruzzelli grew up playing Section IX basketball at New Paltz High School, leading the team to a section title in 2008; his name is proudly displayed in the gymnasium for scoring over 1000 points throughout his high school career. He continued his basketball career at Keene State College in New Hampshire where he earned a Bachelor of Science.

Mr. Nicholas Fernandez is the Dean of Student Affairs and Director of School Security, currently in his eleventh year at Our Lady of Lourdes High School. Ms. Pam Zazzarino

Ms. Pam Zazzarino is a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Class of 2010 and Fordham University, where she studied Comparative Literature. After working for several years professionally as a singer both in the US and the Caribbean, she turned her sights toward teaching. She has taught English as a Second Language in New York City language schools and abroad in Chile in elementary schools and high schools. She is currently pursuing a Master's of the Art of Teaching (MAT) at Stony Brook University. She coaches the OLL JV volleyball team.

At SUNY Oswego he was an RA, an orientation leader, a tour guide, and the Vice President of the chess club. At Lourdes, he teaches Earth Science and Environmental Science and is excited to get to be a part of this community, teaching what he loves.

Thomas Zazzarino

Mr. Zazzarino joined Our Lady of Lourdes High School in 2020 after retiring from a 30-year career with Con Edison. He is married with three children who are all Lourdes graduates and in his free time, he enjoys golf, reading, and coaching baseball, softball, and basketball.

Zach Crittenden

A Lourdes alumnus from the Class of 2005, Mr. Crittenden has been teaching art since 2010 in cities across the country. He started his career in Boston, then Honolulu, and to Brooklyn before moving back to the Hudson Valley to Lourdes, where he has taught since 2019. He serves as the Fine Arts Department Coordinator and teaches Studio Art 2, Studio Art 3, AP Studio Art, and Graphic Design. In addition, he is the moderator for the Jam Club and the Tabletop Gaming Club.
