Debra Massaro

Debra Massaro has been practicing Dental Hygiene in our Great Neck office for over 26 years. She is responsible for the supervision of our comprehensive Hygiene Department. Debra received her Associate's Degree in Dental Hygiene from SUNY Farmingdale, and her Bachelor's Degree in Health and Society from SUNY Old Westbury with Honors. Debra was a Staff Hygienist at Long Island Jewish Hospital in the Department of Dental Medicine for 9 years. In addition to providing dental hygiene, she also assisted in all areas of dentistry, including pathology and oral surgery. At LIJ, she served as the Clinic Coordinator where her responsibilities included the supervision of all the Assistants and Hygienists. Her passion for oral hygiene and dental care is displayed every day through her interaction with her patients and colleagues. When Debra is not working, she enjoys practicing both Yoga & Meditation and has completed 150 hours of teacher training in yoga. She is a gentle and thorough hygienist, and a perfect match for a patient who is anxious or sensitive. Debra also enjoys spending quality time with her family.

Dora-Ann Oddo

Dora-Ann received her Dental Hygiene Degree from Farmingdale State College and her Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene in 2013 and is currently licensed in Local Infiltrations and Nitrous Oxide. Dora earned her certificate from the Academy of Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and is an Adjunct staff member at New York City College of Technology. She is also a member of the American Dental Hygiene Association and Long Island Dental Hygiene Association. She enjoys talking to her patients about dental care and oral hygiene. Dora provides optimum care in helping patients improve their dental education and experience. In her time off, she enjoys Cycling, Kayaking and Traveling.

Dr. Constantine Stavrinoudis

  • Board Certified Prosthodontist Specialist
Dr. Constantine Stavrinoudis is a Board Certified Prosthodontist specialist. He received his Master degree in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in Pharmacology from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He received his dental degree from Howard University. Following graduation, he completed an Advanced Education General Dentistry residency at Milwaukee's Veterans Administration Hospital. While in private practice as a general dentist, he furthered his training in "Full Mouth Reconstruction: Implants, Aesthetics and Occlusion" at New York University College of Dentistry. He went on to complete Master Level for Veneers and Cosmetic Dentistry at the NYU Rosenthal Institute. After several years, Dr. Stavrinoudis returned to his studies and received a specialty Certificate in Prosthodontics from Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, along with a Master of Science. Dr. Stavrinoudis is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of The American College of Prosthodontists. He serves on the ACP committees for both the Private Practice Digital Curriculum and National Prosthodontics Awareness Week and lectures on various aspects of the specialty to bring awareness, educate the public, and the profession. Dr. Stavrinoudis lectures on the topics of digital dentistry, full mouth rehabilitation, implant, and cosmetic dentistry.

Dr. Dena L. Surks

Dr. Dena L. Surks completed her dental training at Fairleigh Dickenson University in 1989, and immediately started her dental career working and training in a successful prosthodontics practice. For over 25 years, she has been dedicated to simple and complex restorations including implants, dentures, bridges, veneers, crowns and teeth in a day. Dr. Surks works hand in hand with many surgeons and periodontists to plan restorative treatment individualized for each patient. As part of the restorative process, Dr. Surks is also certified in Adult Invisalign®, or invisible braces. Dr. Surks belongs to the Nassau Dental Society and the American Dental Association.

Dr. Frank J. Tuminelli

Job Titles:
  • Dental Implant and Prosthodontic Specialist
Dr. Frank J. Tuminelli received his Dental Degree and specialty training in Prosthodontics from Fairleigh Dickenson University School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tuminelli is a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics. He is currently the Program Director of Advanced Prosthodontics at the Manhattan Veterans Administration, New York campus, and was the Program Director for Graduate Prosthodontics for the New York Presbyterian Hospital at Queens (member of the Presbyterian Health System) from 2010 - 2016. He also served as the Program Director of Advanced Prosthodontics and Implantology, for the NSHLIJ Health System. He is a President of the American College of Prosthodontists, and past president of The Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics. Dr Tuminelli is a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Dental Medicine at the Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine. Dr. Tuminelli served as the Team Dentist for the New York Islanders for ten years. Dr. Tuminelli lectures locally and nationally, and has authored / coauthored multiple scientific papers. Dr Tuminelli is the recipient of the 2017 Educator of the year award from the American College of Prosthodontists. He maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics on Long Island and New York City.

Dr. Ted Korin

Dr. Ted Korin received his dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1987. He then went on to complete his specialty training and receive his certificate in Prosthodontics from Fairleigh Dickenson University School of Dental Medicine in 1989. Dr. Korin is an Attending in the Division of Advanced Prosthodontics and Implant Dentistry at North Shore/Long Island Jewish Health Systems, Manhasset Campus. He is also a member of the American College of Prosthodontics, the American Dental Association and the Nassau County Dental Society. Together with his partner Dr. Frank Tuminelli, Dr. Korin has served as the Team Dentist for the New York Island of Hockey Club since 2002. With over 20 years experience, Dr. Korin is proficient in delivering the most complex dental care in a kind and compassionate manner. Dr. Korin lectures on a local and national level while maintaining a full time private practice limited to prosthodontics.

Jena Savino

As graduate of Farmingdale State College, Jena earned her degree as a Registered Dental Hygienist in May of 2014. Jena is committed to advancing her skills and knowledge. She continued to pursue education and recently earned a Masters Degree in Global Health from Northwestern University. She had six years of experience in the dental field as a dental assistant in general practice and orthodontics prior to becoming a dental hygienist. Jena enjoys getting to know her patients and providing high quality dental care that pertains to her patients needs. She is an animal advocate and some of her interests are traveling, photography and spending time with family.

Misty Raber

Misty received her Dental Hygiene degree from Prairie State College in Chicago, in May of 2000. She began working at North Shore Prosthodontics in October 2000. She enjoys working at North Shore Prosthodontics because everyone is treated like family and it shows. Being a Hygienist enables her to balance raising a family and having a fulfilling career. Over the years she has built wonderful relationships with our patients while improving their oral and overall health. Misty enjoys rollerblading, gardening, reading about nutrition and relaxing on the beach.

Suzanne Ryan

A registered dental hygienist since 1980, Suzanne Ryan's skills and reputation as a dental professional are best described by the long association she has forged with many of her patients over the last 30-plus years. Suzanne holds a Bachelor of Science degree in dental hygiene from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a degree in dental hygiene from SUNY Farmingdale. She is certified to administer and monitor local anesthesia and nitrous oxide analgesia in the practice of dental hygiene. In her free time, Suzanne enjoys quality time with her husband, children, family and friends. Other interests include spending time outdoors, hiking, gardening, fishing, working out, cooking, traveling, learning and praying. She also volunteers at a number of activities at her local parish.
