Northwest Pretties is a small home-based business established in 1991, in the Pacific Northwest, USA, Port Orchard, Washington. My name is Susan and I am the sole owner and artist... Northwest Pretties was established in 1991, by me, Susan, sole-owner/artist. I have always been artistic and crafty and I wanted an outlet to share my art. This came at a time when I wanted to be a stay at home mom while my kids were in elementary school. (They are now grown, but it has also enabled me to be a stay-at-home Nana, where I was able to provide day care for my granddaughter, who is now too old to need it. ) With a nudge and a few pushes from a very encouraging admirer, (Nancy, rip) Northwest Pretties was born.
