We are one of the oldest churches in South Jersey. We just celebrated 300 years of worshiping in Woodbury. Here's a brief history: The Presbyterian Church at Woodbury was founded in 1721 when a group of Presbyterians in the region established a meeting house on land donated by John Tatum. After facing challenges during the Revolutionary War and a period of inconsistent leadership, the church experienced gradual improvements, including the construction of a new building in 1834. Over the next century, the church's membership and leadership grew, with pastors serving longer tenures, and a focus on missions and benevolence. In the mid-20th century, the church underwent several restorations and expansions, including the addition of a cupola and renovations in 1965. By 2006, the church had continued its mission, with a new pastor and expanded leadership to meet the needs of its growing congregation...
