Jami Passer - Chief Investment Officer

Jami Passer is the Chief Investment Officer at EDENS, bringing over 24 years of extensive real estate experience and transactional expertise. Jami Passer is responsible for EDENS' portfolio of 125 places, capitalized by blue chip investors and valued at $6.5 billion, while developing and executing the company's growth strategy. She plays a key role in EDENS' mission to enrich community by elevating each center to serve as an authentic gathering place. Throughout her 14-year tenure at EDENS, Passer has been responsible for the development, redevelopment, acquisition and disposition of more than $12 billion in retail assets across the company's nine major markets. As the Managing Director prior to her current role as CIO, she led all development, leasing and acquisition activities in the Florida region and was instrumental in identifying exceptional acquisition opportunities and transforming EDENS' positioning into South Florida's high-barrier-to-entry market. Prior to joining EDENS, Passer was a partner and consultant with P3 Partners, a South Florida real estate advisory firm. Previously, she was a Managing Director in the Real Estate Capital Markets Group of Andersen Corporate Finance. Passer received a BS degree in Economics from the Wharton School and a BA degree in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania.

Jodie W. McLean - CEO

Jodie W. McLean is Chief Executive Officer of EDENS, one of the nation's leading private owners, operators and developers of retail real estate. With a more than 25-year tenure at EDENS, she has been a key player in the company's growth and expansion to its current marketplace leadership, capitalized by blue chip investors and assets valued at $6.5 billion. Jodie is responsible for EDENS' strategy to move the portfolio to major urban centers and first-ring suburbs, creating a portfolio of assets that are the center of community life. She was named Chief Investment Officer in 1997, President in 2002 and CEO in 2015. Overall, she has been responsible for the development, redevelopment, acquisition and disposition of more than $20 billion in retail assets. McLean passionately believes that retail should evolve beyond a shopping experience, and advocates for connectivity to the communities surrounding the company's retail centers. To ensure this, each EDENS development is crafted to serve as an authentic gathering place, including a unique merchandising mix and welcoming design elements, fostering a sense of engagement with its neighbors. McLean is Chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and serves on several Board of Directors including Cushman & Wakefield (NYSE: CWK), Wofford College and Milhaus. She is also a Trustee of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and The Real Estate Round Table. McLean is a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network's Liberty Fellowship, Class of 2009. A native of Chicago, IL, she holds a B.S. in Finance and Management from the Moore School of Business, University of South Carolina, and a degree from South Carolina Honors College.

Mark Garside - CFO

As Chief Financial Officer, Mark Garside has overall responsibility for capital markets, investor relations, finance, accounting, tax and portfolio analytics. He has worked with EDENS for 16 years, and before being named CFO, he was Managing Director in Capital Markets. While leading this division, he supervised investments, debt and equity financing transactions, public financing transactions, joint venture and partnership structuring and business development. With almost 25 years of commercial real estate experience in corporate finance, capital markets, investments and law, Mark has participated in more than $15 billion of private and public capital markets transactions, including company and portfolio sales and acquisitions, initial public offerings, follow-on common offerings, joint ventures, secured financings and unsecured financings. Prior to joining EDENS, Mark was a Vice President with Wachovia Securities Real Estate Investment Banking group; an investment banker with Lehman Brothers; and a commercial real estate attorney with Parker Poe law firm. Mark received a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Virginia, as well as a Bachelor of Arts and a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of North Carolina.

William C. Caldwell

As Chief Development Officer, Bill Caldwell leads the Development team at EDENS. His expertise has transformed the company's approach to all aspects of development and design, from master planning to sustainability. Bill has more than 35 years of experience in development, master planning, urban design and architecture. At EDENS, Bill's vision for building and enriching communities touches all these aspects. He brings unique accountability to EDENS by integrating development, planning, entitlement, design and construction. To date, Bill and his team have played a strategic role in more than 75 developments and redevelopments at EDENS, from New England to Florida in the East and from Texas to the Pacific Coast. Types of projects range from complex mixed-use districts including Union Market in Washington, DC, and Mosaic in Fairfax, VA, to redevelopments of community centers such as Preston Royal Village in Dallas, TX. Bill is an AICP Certified Planner and LEED Accredited Professional, leading EDENS' sustainability initiatives since the Taskforce was established in 2008. For 15 years he has worked with this team to establish benchmarks for reducing EDENS' carbon footprint across its national retail real estate portfolio of more than 110 places. In alignment with the U.S. Green Building Council, Bill helped set the goal for all design and operations staff to be accredited LEED professionals, and to certify Mosaic and South Bay as LEED-certified for Neighborhood Development. Prior to joining EDENS, Bill led RTKL's Urban Design Practice based in Washington, DC, and practiced urban design and architecture in Germany for seven years. He is Vice-Chair on the Board of Directors for Montgomery Housing Project (MHP) and a member of Urban Land Institute (ULI). Bill received a Masters and Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Miami and a Bachelor of Science in Design Architecture from Arizona State University.
