You will also get to know Brooke Robbins, our Office Manager. Like Michelle, Brooke will be one of the people you see the most. Brooke started camping at Pleasant Hill Campground in 2008 with her parents. They came first as tent campers, upgraded to a pop up and are now seasonal campers with a 5th wheel. The natural progression of true campers! Since 2020 Brooke has been working in the camp office, she is literally the glue that holds all things in place here! We love her pleasant vibes attitude and how well she treats every camper and guest that walks through the office door! Brooke is also raising the 3rd generation of Pleasant Hill Campers and we love this piece she adds to our family vibe!
While you are here it is Michelle Shores, our General Manager, that you will see the most. As matriarch of the family, it's only fitting that she should be the one at the forefront of all things pleasant! Michelle not only keeps all of the campground systems running, she is also the magic behind all of our guest experiences as well as making sure we are offering you interesting and varied activities to do while you are here.
If you need information on things to do around the State of Maine, check with Michelle. She most recently worked as the Advertising Manager for the Maine Tourism Association, so it's possible she may know a thing or two about unique experiences and little known gems! Michelle is also a multi-award-winning author of the best-selling book "The Gathering Room - A Tale of Nelly Butler." She can help you find just the right book to read while hanging out in a hammock or lounging around the pool! Michelle brings a unique and interesting perspective to our campground and provides us all with pleasant vibes!
