Ben grew up in Raleigh, NC, and he has served in ministry in Charlotte and the Twin Cities of Minnesota. He joined the Providence staff in August of 2022 as the Pastor of Family Discipleship.
Ben is a graduate of Catawba College in Salisbury, NC and completed his Master of Divinity at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Ben and his wife, Emily, were married in 2006 and have been blessed with three daughters, Ellie, Quinn, and Mia.
You can usually find Ben enjoying a diet coke as he walks around the halls!
Brian grew up in the midwest and studied psychology and history at Southwest Baptist University. He and his wife, Tabatha, met while preparing to serve in Africa with the International Mission Board. Brian lived in Zimbabwe, and Tabatha lived in Senegal.
Shortly after returning to America, they got married and moved to North Carolina. Brian became an intern at Providence in 1998 while attending Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. Upon graduating with a Master of Divinity degree, Brian became a pastor at Providence. In 2016, he became Senior Pastor when our founding pastor, David Horner, retired.
Brian and Tabatha are the proud parents of Josiah, Caleb, and Seth.

Bryan is a native of West TN and has served in ministry in TN and central KY. He joined the Providence staff in June of 2011.
Bryan is a graduate of Union University in Jackson TN and Belmont University in Nashville. After a short tenure in the music industry, he worked on staff at Union prior to attending Southern Seminary in Louisville, KY. He holds a Master of Arts in Christian Education and a Master of Theology from Southern, and D.Ed.Min from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Bryan and his wife, Ellie, were married in 2001. They are blessed with three daughters, Mary Evelyn, Margo, and Annie, and a son, Asher.

Daniel joined the Providence staff in 2018. He grew up in Houston, TX, and got an undergraduate degree from Dallas Baptist University before moving to North Carolina to study at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he got his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching. He has served at churches in Texas, North Carolina, and Florida before coming back to Raleigh to serve at Providence.
Daniel and his wife, Amy, have been married for 17 years and have three kids, Wyatt, Thatcher, and Hadley Anne.

Dave is a graduate of Averett University, where he majored in business administration. After four years as a golf professional, Dave attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary where he graduated in 2000 with a Master of Divinity degree.
Dave has served at Providence since 1995. He is married to his partner and best friend, Julie. They are the proud parents of Joshua, Elizabeth, Julianna, and Rachel.

Jarrick is an NC Native (literally). After playing 2 years of baseball at Wake Tech Community College, Jarrick transferred and graduated from NC State with a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science and a minor in Natural Resources. He then attended Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary and graduated in 2019 with a Master of Divinity degree in Christian Ministry. He has served in various roles at Providence: outreach intern, facilities team, assistant director of student ministry, and, since 2020, the Student Pastor of Discipleship.
Jarrick has been married to his wife Brittany since 2015, and they have a beautiful daughter, Abbie Grace.
A native of Virginia, John graduated from Virginia Tech in 1996 with a degree in civil/structural engineering. He practiced structural engineering until 2003, when he made a career change into the business realm, joining Genworth Financial. While at Genworth, John held several leadership roles in quality, strategic development, and international operations.
John has been a member of Providence since 2002 and has served in the singles, student, and adult ministries. John has been married to his wife, Sarah, since 1999 and they have two sons, Caleb and Samuel.

Sam was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. Having lived in Chicago IL, Washington DC, Lynchburg, VA, and Columbus OH, Sam and his wife Hannah love calling Raleigh home.
Sam's academic pursuits involve a Bachelor of Science in Youth Ministry: Biblical Studies from Liberty University and a Masters of Divinity: Advanced from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.
His free time is filled with espresso-making, TV-watching (The Office and Seinfeld), weight-lifting, and motorcycle-riding.

Tyler is a graduate of the College at Southeastern in Wake Forest, NC. He and his wife, Rachel, were married their junior year of college, and they have been in ministry ever since. Tyler worked in small businesses for several years, both in the business and ministry world. God called their family to Providence in 2020, and Tyler has been on staff with the church since 2021. His role engages both his business experience and passion for people to see and savor Christ.
