The Philadelphia Folksong Society (PFS) is a non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, PA. We present the Philadelphia Folk Festival, one of the oldest and best known outdoor music festivals in North America!... The Philadelphia Folksong Society was founded in 1957, and since that time the organization has offered programs of presentation, participation, and education throughout Greater Philadelphia and the nation. These programs present a cultural history of society and provide enjoyment to thousands of people of all ages.
