Abby is a fully licensed clinical social worker who has been with Pine Rest since 2011. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Northern Michigan University and a Master's in Clinical Social Work from the University of New England.

Alex Daoud is a social worker at the Pine Rest Christian Counseling Center. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Biopsychology, Cognition, and Neuroscience (BCN) at the University of Michigan. He then earned a Master's degree in Social Work at the University of Michigan School of Social Work.
While earning his Master's degree, Alex was on the therapy team at Washtenaw County's Community Mental Health facility. This was the introduction to therapy and Alex's passion. He then moved to Grand Rapids to work with adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses at Hope Network's Hope Partners outpatient program in 2021.
Alex' clinical interests include anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress, and phobias. He strives to provide a comforting environment free of judgment and criticism. He is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and aspires to help individuals process their traumas. He works with adults 18+.

Amy Mancuso is a seasoned professional in the field of social work, with a master's degree from Western Michigan University where she focused on clinical practice. As a Certified Trauma Specialist, Ms. Mancuso has been a valuable resource by providing training to front-line employees on the profound impact of trauma on behavioral health symptoms.
Throughout her extensive twenty-year career, Ms. Mancuso has held various roles in both clinical and administrative capacities within behavioral health treatment programs. Notably, she has dedicated over a decade to programs specifically designed to assist youth who have experienced significant trauma.
In addition to being the Youth Social Media Research project manager, Ms. Mancuso holds the position of Grants Manager at Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services, where she oversees all activities related to grants. She provides leadership and support in both the preparation and execution of grant proposals, ensuring their successful implementation.

Dr. Abbie VanDerWege joined Pine Rest in 2023 with roles at both the Psychological Consultation Center in Grand Rapids, MI and Portage Clinic in Portage, MI. At the Psychological Consultation Center, Dr. VanDerWege conducts psychological evaluations for children and adolescents to assess for ADHD and other mental health diagnoses.
As a therapist, Dr. VanDerWege enjoys working with adolescents and adults who present with a variety of clinical issues. She views therapy as a collaborative process of identifying and working toward goals to enhance clients' fulfillment in their lives. She seeks to understand and respect the diverse perspectives, experiences and values of her clients.
Dr. VanDerWege provides therapy using a cognitive behavioral approach rooted within the broader cultural context in which we live. With specialized training, she is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional and Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional. In addition, Dr. VanDerWege has engaged in continuing education to enhance her work with clients who have histories of trauma, women's health issues, or highly sensitive personalities.
Dr. VanDerWege graduated with a major in Psychology from Kalamazoo College in 2004. She immediately matriculated into the master's degree program in Counseling Psychology at Western Michigan University, which she completed in 2006. While at Western Michigan University, she developed an interest in holistic health and pursued a graduate certificate in Holistic Health Care, which she received in 2006. After completing her master's degree, she accepted a position as a family therapist for the Family Reunification Program at Bethany Christian Services. Feeling at home in Kalamazoo, she then entered the APA-accredited PhD program at Western Michigan University in Counseling Psychology in 2007. She completed a full-time APA- accredited predoctoral internship at the Battle Creek VA Medical Center where she pursued rotations in outpatient and residential PTSD, outpatient mental health, inpatient mental health, and substance abuse treatment. After completing her PhD in 2011, Dr. VanDerWege worked in private practice providing psychotherapy and conducting psychological evaluations prior to transitioning to Pine Rest in 2023.

Dr. Sarah Domoff is an Assistant Professor at the University at Albany, State University of New York, in the Department of Psychology. Dr. Domoff completed her PhD at Bowling Green State University in Clinical Psychology (Child Clinical concentration) and post-doctoral training at the University of Michigan.
Dr. Domoff is a leading scholar on the etiology of problematic media use across childhood.

Dr. Heide Rollings completed medical school at St. Matthew's University School of Medicine, her psychiatry residency at University of Connecticut Health Center, and her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Northwestern University/McGaw Medical Center.
A child & adolescent psychiatrist, Dr. Rollings is currently the medical director of the Pine Rest Pediatric Center of Behavioral Health scheduled to open in fall of 2025 and the Pine Rest Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship Director.
