PRECISION - Key Persons
Rick was born and raised in north central Indiana near the town of North Manchester and grew up helping his family and working on several other local farms. In the fall of 2001, Rick started at Purdue University where he studied Agricultural Systems Management (ASM) and also met his wife, Annette. By the spring of 2005 Rick earned a bachelors degree in ASM with a minor in Farm Management, and an Associates degree in Agronomy. After graduating from Purdue, Rick went to work for John Deere Harvester Works, traveling with experimental combines, and also working in the engine dyno test lab. Late in 2007, Rick and Annette moved back to Annette's home town here in southern Indiana. And, in the summer of 2009, Precision Farming Solutions LLC was born. Rick and Annette have two children, Olivia (12), Ethan (5).
