PITTSBURG INTERIORS - Key Persons
Patty McNair started their business together in May 1980 with an upholstery shop in the Stillwell Hotel in downtown Pittsburg. They had just graduated from Pittsburg State University. They married a year later and moved to Tim's hometown in Inverness, Montana. There, they grew their business into a successful furniture and flooring business being recognized by AlliedSignal Fibers' with their Spirit of Success award. In June of 1998 Tim and Patty sold that business to their employees and moved back to the Pittsburg area, Patty's hometown.
Building of Pittsburg Interiors began in December of 1998, with Tim being the general contractor. With much hard work, including help from family, they opened the store in December of 1999. Through all these years, they continue to serve a large clientele in the four-state area. They have done many large projects including the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts on the PSU campus, the River Bend Casino and Hotel, and the restoration of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. They continue to be involved in the community, supporting PSU, and many local schools and charities. Tim and Patty are proud that many of their employees are PSU students and graduates.
