Ross Haven Farm is the only veterinary owned-and-operated rehabilitative care facility in the Central Massachusetts region, and one of only a few in New England. Ross Haven Farm has been helping horses recover since 2008, under the supervision of Dr. Carl Kirker-Head, a board-certified equine veterinary specialist, and his wife Romona (Mona) Kirker-Head, a knowledgeable equestrian and equine veterinary technician. Together, with the assistance of a dedicated team of staff, you can be sure your horse will receive exceptional, attentive care... Grass footing, blue sky, and fresh air, along with encouraging words, can do wonders for the mental health and physical well-being of the recuperating equine patient. With few exceptions, we believe it is important for all horses to have access to the outdoors for at least a few minutes of exercise..
